00:00 The boat is a GPK 1030 Mean River and I'm the co-skipper of Jonglyn.
00:08 We are in the 200 division, so two on board.
00:11 Well, this JPK is new, so I picked up the boat about three months ago.
00:15 So I thought before I'm heading back to Australia, I might as well get this boat to come to do
00:19 the Fastnet because time seems right.
00:22 Also, you know, the race is a 50th edition of the Fastnet and the history of it.
00:27 Why not?
00:28 It's a bucket list.
00:29 I'm going to take it off.
00:30 It's going to be a new challenge for me.
00:32 It's a very, very interesting race.
00:34 I think the weather from current forecast, if it's heavy, then yeah, I'm going to be
00:39 nervous.
00:40 The 200, I think for me is a challenge, you know, physically and mentally.
00:44 I only started about two and a half years ago, three years ago.
00:47 So I've got a lot to learn, to be honest.
00:50 And my co-skipper is very experienced.
00:52 I sail more in the short-handed, so you should train to know your own limits and to always
00:59 sail safe, but sail performant most of the time.
01:02 We will do our best and I think most important, just enjoy the race and enjoy the moment.
