00:00 If I say "hardcore", "masque de hockey" or "sweet noir" you think of one person.
00:04 Of course I'm talking about Angerfist and today I'm going to tell you his story.
00:08 From his real name, Danny Messling, born on June 20, 1981 in Almer in the Netherlands,
00:14 in 2002 the young DJ under the label Overlord Records, makes his first EP appear,
00:19 called "Criminally Insane EP" under the name "Dangerfist".
00:23 In 2006, he asked one of his friends, Mine Ross, known under the pseudonym of "MC Prozac",
00:28 to accompany him on stage during his performances.
00:31 Angerfist then becomes a band and one of the greatest actors in the hardcore and gabber scene.
00:36 According to Danny, one thing was missing from his record label, an album.
00:40 So, the same year he releases his first studio album, called "Piscine Razor Blazed".
00:45 Two of his studio albums, "Mutilate" released in 2008 and "Retaliate" released in 2012,
00:51 second and third respectively, have reached the Dutch top musical.
00:55 Angerfist is notably known for the quality of his sets,
00:57 his stage presence and his show, all of this conveyed by the port of a hockey mask and a suit.

01:11 From 2010, Messling is considered by the music press and many international media
01:16 as the most influential producer of the techno-hardcore and gabber scene internationally.
01:21 In 2014, he released his fourth album, "The Dead Faced Dimension", followed by a fifth in 2015.
01:27 "Raze and Revolt".
01:28 In November 2017, he released his sixth album, "Tread of Chaos".
01:32 Angerfist said,
01:33 "The fact that I've already started playing with a mask is one of the best decisions I've made.
01:37 The mask poses a threat and fits my music well.
01:40 In addition, the mystery is part of the success."
01:42 However, he explains that he hesitated to wear this mask during his first performances.
01:46 "I didn't want to play at all, but just make music anonymously."
