00:00 So I've been out and about right across the Oxley District, listening and
00:05 learning basically. It's been wonderful to come up here and meet with our local
00:09 police, see what's going on, find out what's going on locally and also meeting
00:16 with the community and I have to say that the collaboration between the
00:20 police and the community is quite significant. Yesterday I was at Backtrack
00:24 and listening to Backtrack talk about the positive relationship and partnership
00:29 that they have with the New South Wales Police is really something that we need
00:33 to try to duplicate right across the state. The work they're doing is
00:36 fantastic and the police, you know, they are working very hard with community to
00:41 address all of those societal issues that we have that the community really
00:45 need to work on collaboratively and collectively, like youth crime, like
00:50 domestic violence, mental health, but the police are at the forefront of that and
00:55 they're doing great work, excellent work and they are working so hard with the
00:58 community, particularly in our regional areas like here in Tamworth and that's to
01:03 be applauded.
