00:00 I hope we win, but I think my point right now is we shouldn't have come down to this.
00:08 We looked forward to this World Cup hosting for about 6-7 years.
00:19 We had as much time to lay down the groundwork, lay down the plans for this World Cup participation.
00:28 It's sad that we're down to this again.
00:31 Last few weeks, we're still cramming, we're still looking for the vital pieces,
00:37 still waiting for them to join the training camp,
00:41 still looking for possible tune-ups, things that are bound for the World Cup.
00:48 That should have been set long ago because we're the hosts, right?
00:53 And we're spending billions to host this showcase.
00:57 Maybe they didn't know that this World Cup hosting would be memorable in the eyes of Filipinos
01:05 if Giglas didn't show a good performance.
01:08 They didn't exactly win, but whatever it was, even if they fought,
01:14 they must remember that the blowout losses by Giglas would dampen any joy from the hosting of this World Cup
01:25 as far as Filipino fans are concerned.
01:28 So I hope we can make the most of last month,
01:35 we can make the most of it ahead of our opener against Dominican Republic.
01:40 But again, I'm not optimistic given the circumstances.
01:44 I hope we win, but I think my point right now is that we shouldn't have come down to this.
01:53 We should have set this a long time ago, all our plans should have been laid down.
01:58 And unfortunately, that's not the case.
