On July 27, authorities in Jammu & Kashmir’s Srinagar allowed the 8th Muharram procession to pass through its traditional route. This comes after more than three decades. The administration had granted permission for the procession for two hours from 6 am to 8 am on July 27. The procession was carried out on the traditional route of Shaheed Gunj to Dalgate.
