00:00 The Formula E Championship table has seen multiple names at the peak of the standings
00:06 throughout the calendar. As the drivers and fans of the sport prepare for a blockbuster
00:11 finale in London for round 15 of 15, what are the possible outcomes from the final race
00:18 of the season?
00:21 The winning driver can receive a maximum of 29 points as British driver Jake Dennis did
00:26 on the Sunday in Rome in round 14 of the season. To achieve maximum points, the drivers must
00:32 achieve pile position and then go on to win the race with the fastest lap time on top
00:37 of that. The FIA Formula E World Championship consists of two separate titles, one dedicated
00:44 to the drivers and another dedicated to the teams. As it stands, going into London, Jake
00:49 Dennis is top of the pile but with 58 points up for grabs due to it being a double header,
00:54 there's still a chance for all of that to change as the top four racers could all win
00:59 the drivers' championship.
01:00 Yeah, it's pretty tight. Dennis has a gap and I'll definitely, if I had to choose, I
01:06 would definitely say Dennis. We have a great friendship together and also we share the
01:10 same manager by coincidence in a way. So yeah, hopefully Dennis makes it happen. He will
01:17 definitely deserve that and you know, he has a bit of a gap but of course he doesn't need
01:21 to, he cannot allow to relax and take it easy. You know, it's still relatively close,
01:26 you never know what can happen. As I said earlier in Formula E, a lot of things can
01:29 happen. So we'll see how it goes but hopefully the title, he can have it.
01:35 We sat down with French driver Sacha Fenerstrasse for Team Nissan, who certainly has a big future
01:41 ahead of him in the sport. In just his second year of Formula E racing, he spoke about the
01:46 season and just why he loves the sport.
01:50 I must say I'm quite happy about the season I have this year. Definitely at the beginning
01:55 of the year I wouldn't have thought that I would be able to achieve two pole positions,
02:00 a few front rows and etc. If you would have told me that at the beginning of the season
02:04 I wouldn't believe you and here we are. So you know, I cannot say it's been a bad season
02:08 but of course there's been a lot of ups and downs.
02:11 Well for me, I've always dreamed to be racing in a world championship. For me as a racing
02:16 driver having that opportunity of participating in a world championship is huge. There isn't
02:22 many out there and that was one of the dreams. Secondly, we know what's going on around the
02:28 world with the climate change and etc. I was kind of, being young in my age also, I was
02:33 like this can hopefully show a little bit of helping a little bit in a way the world.
02:40 And then of course on the racing side of things, it's just being able to compare myself against
02:44 the best drivers in the world after Formula One.
02:48 Season 9 of Formula E has thrown up some incredible moments as the sport continues to grow on
02:53 the world stage. And as it heads to London for an action-packed final weekend of the
02:58 season we could see a number of different names lift the championship trophy.
