00:00 Kristen Bell had to improvise at Boston Logan International Airport on Wednesday night after
00:05 she and her family, including her husband Dax Shepard, were stranded because of flight
00:09 delays and no hotels were available within 50 miles of the airport.
00:13 Bell posted a photo of her group sitting at their gate, writing that they had been stranded
00:17 because of nine hours of delays.
00:19 She then went on to document their whole ordeal.
00:21 Initially, the family passed the time by playing the kids' game of choice, Uno, and then
00:26 Spades, picked by dad. Making the best of a true travel nightmare, the party set up
00:30 camp in the terminal, creating makeshift beds across the seating area for the grown-ups
00:35 and the kids.
00:36 Bell joked that they made quite a home for themselves in the end. And it looks like she
00:40 was even able to do her night-time routine because she shared a makeup-free selfie with
00:44 a toothbrush in her mouth outside an airport bathroom.
00:47 But just as they were getting comfortable, the group was booted from the airport floor.
00:51 Alongside a video of the area strewn with blankets, numerous neck pillows and snacks,
00:56 she wrote that they wanted to stay but had been kicked out.
00:58 Thankfully, a friend of a friend who lived nearby eventually came to the rescue with
01:02 lodgings and Bell shared a picture of their new makeshift set up in the attic.
01:06 The family made it there around 1am, but only after Shepard had already taken a sleep aid.
01:11 The star shared a hilarious selfie of them making their way through a parking garage
01:15 as Shepard seemed to be sleeping while standing up.
01:17 But it all had a happy ending because their hosts even took them on a scenic hike the
01:21 next day.
