00:00 Sometimes we witness these really crazy, bizarre moments that feel like a dream.
00:05 But when you tell your friends and family about them, they're probably going to say, "You're trippin'."
00:10 Fortunately for some people, these moments happen to be when cameras are around,
00:14 and they actually have proof of their insane experience.
00:17 Today we're going to show you 50 such rare occurrences that if they were not recorded, there's no way you'd believe they happened.
00:24 Stick around to the end to see a really lucky rat who escapes three really close calls with cars in less than a minute.
00:31 We've all seen jaws when we were little, but here on this beach, dozens of sharks actually came together in a frenzied state.
00:44 You can see their fins poking out of the water too.
00:47 Experts said this was because a large group of fish had emerged and attracted not only sharks, but also seagulls and pelicans.
00:54 Thank God sharks are strictly aquatic creatures.
00:57 These guys were riding some horses while standing up on them instead of sitting down,
01:07 and they all looked like they stepped out of an Edgar Allen Poe story.
01:16 An atomic blast took place underwater, and we see a mushroom cloud surprisingly similar to the one we get above ground level.
01:23 We really wouldn't want to be around when a blast like this one takes place, no matter how awesome it looks.
01:29 This tsunami from up above looks totally insane.
01:39 We wouldn't want to be anywhere in the vicinity when this happens.
01:42 It looks like a vertical flood.
01:44 Maybe this is what you get when you cross a cyclone with a tsunami.
01:47 This gorgeous green glow in the sky is one of the wonders of the world.
01:57 The Aurora Borealis in Manitoba.
02:00 What you're watching is a time lapse.
02:02 Nature is truly remarkable.
02:10 This helicopter went out to extinguish a forest fire, and it manages to do exactly that,
02:15 and not a drop of water was wasted that day either.
02:18 A plus for accuracy.
02:20 This woman was casually sitting around, floating on her surfboard when a whale jumped out of the surface of the water.
02:32 If she had been resting a little bit to the side, she would have been swallowed whole by the whale.
02:38 Man jumps into a car, out of control, to prevent a collision.
02:42 CCTV cameras recorded this man jumping into a car that was out of control,
02:48 and prevented what would definitely have been a pretty bad accident.
02:51 Just when we thought this man couldn't possibly have gotten any more awesome,
02:55 he jumped out of the car window in the nick of time.
02:58 Massive sandstorm.
03:03 Here we see a rapidly progressing sandstorm in Sao Paulo.
03:07 It sort of looks dystopian.
03:09 A giant cloud of brown just coming forward and eating up all the buildings and everything else in its path.
03:14 Dangerous mountain.
03:18 Here we see two dudes running on top of a mountain that looks really dangerously steep.
03:25 It's like one slip and it's game over forever.
03:28 Why would anyone want to climb to the top of this mountain?
03:31 We have to admit, the red soil is quite beautiful.
03:34 Mountains can be scary.
03:35 After all, thousands of people have toppled to their deaths trying to get to the top of them.
03:40 Earthquake in Japan.
03:43 Here in a rare natural phenomena, we see the ground up and actually move.
03:50 This was shot during the earthquake in Japan.
03:52 Imagine you put your finger in there and it closes.
03:55 Massive mudslide.
04:00 People standing by got back when this mudslide arrived.
04:03 It looked kind of like someone opened a dam and it was overflowing into the empty channel.
04:08 Maybe it's a river of chocolate milk.
04:10 Dog likes to play with crabs.
04:13 This playful dog likes to dig out crabs by the seashore and then plays with them.
04:20 She doesn't mean any harm.
04:21 She's just curious and likes the little guys.
04:24 They can't seem to get away from her fast enough though.
04:26 These two definitely belong in a Disney movie.
04:30 Hot water freezes faster than cold.
04:33 When this guy threw some cold water outside, you'd think it'd freeze instantly and yet somehow it doesn't.
04:41 Maybe it's just not that cold.
04:43 But when he throws out some heated water onto the snow, it's literally frozen in less than a second.
04:48 Um, scientists, care to explain this one?
04:51 Teacher demonstrates how to escape from a bull.
04:56 This teacher wanted to teach their class through a practical demonstration.
05:00 After all, what better way to learn than by practical demonstration?
05:03 So they took their class out into an empty space and made them stand totally still
05:08 so that they'd learn for themselves that bulls don't attack anyone who's standing still.
05:13 And that's what you ought to think if you ever find yourself facing a particularly hostile bull.
05:18 Point well proven.
05:19 A bubble freezes.
05:25 This is what happened when someone held a bubble out in some freezing temperatures.
05:29 See the ice flow around the outside of the bubble as it freezes?
05:32 Nature is truly remarkable.
05:34 This 80-ton blue whale carcass that washed up on a beach has swollen up and bloated
05:45 because of all the gases involved with the decomposition process trapped inside.
05:49 Residents in the area are baffled at how to get rid of it.
05:52 It looks like some sort of alien egg that landed on Earth from outer space.
05:56 Man-made wave pools have been around since the late 19th century.
06:05 You'd understand why if you ever felt the thrill of catching a wave.
06:09 Here we see a large group of visitors in one of South Korea's artificial wave pools.
06:14 It's absolutely chaotic as these people are thrown around by the huge wave.
06:18 You can hear the screams of excitement too.
06:21 Looks like some people are actually having a lot of fun.
06:24 This Andrian condor vulture is one really big bird.
06:33 Looks pretty intimidating from where we're sitting, but no wait!
06:36 It's going all the way there to enjoy a taste of ice lolly the bystander human is eating.
06:41 Okay, now suddenly it looks a lot less scary.
06:49 Looks like we aren't the only ones excited to see the ice cream man come around.
06:53 This dog just can't contain its joy now that it knows there's ice cream.
06:57 He even knows how to say ice cream.
06:59 But don't worry, he wasn't given any.
07:01 That stuff isn't the greatest thing for a dog.
07:04 A mammoth-sized squid wrapped its long slimy tentacles around this poor man's surfboard
07:14 and somehow, surprisingly enough, it didn't really do anything else and the man was unharmed.
07:19 It was probably just curious.
07:21 This real cyclone was caught on camera by someone on a boat in Japan.
07:30 No, this is 100% real and not CGI.
07:34 Sometimes in rare cases like this, you don't need a horror movie to be scared.
07:38 The world we live in is scary enough.
07:41 Fox vs. Cat
07:43 This cat doesn't take well to having its supremacy threatened and territory encroached by the arrival of this fox.
07:51 You'd think the fox would at least somewhat intimidate the domestic tabby,
07:55 but it seems to be the other way around.
07:57 The cat keeps an eye on it and continues eating.
08:00 The fox is now not as confident and keeps looking over its shoulder.
08:03 Okay, now the fox has gathered enough courage to come close.
08:06 Oh, and the cat snaps!
08:08 [snaps]
08:10 [cat meows]
08:12 It's not an animal to be messed with.
08:16 The fox thinks about it again, but the cat's like, "Don't even think about it."
08:20 Canadian firefighting planes fill up water from the beach of Shakira.
08:26 These planes swoop down really low to fill their tanks with water up.
08:30 There were also people swimming in the water at the time, and we have to say, it cut a pretty close call.
08:37 A massive griffon vulture is released.
08:39 This massive griffon vulture looks like it's pure CGI.
08:45 It's too big to be real.
08:47 It literally triples in size as it spreads its wings.
08:50 But believe it or not, there's no special effects at play here.
08:53 This is all real.
08:55 Helicopter pouring water on fire near highway.
09:01 Near a valley in California, a fire burns out of control dangerously close to a section of highway.
09:07 As cars drive on the highway near the flames, a fire helicopter is seen pouring water on the road to stop the spread of fire.
09:15 Is that a Russian mole rat or a fluffy steam train going by?
09:23 It's a Russian mole rat.
09:26 Tree bleeding.
09:28 This tree, when cut, leaks sap all over.
09:34 And it's a bright red color too, just like blood.
09:37 Yikes!
09:38 At least now we know what we're using is fake blood on Halloween.
09:42 Anaconda climbs tree.
09:45 So what we're seeing here is an anaconda snake climbing a coconut tree.
09:51 Look at it, coiling its scaly body around the trunk and making its way up.
09:55 Yeah, it's a no-no on all counts for us.
09:58 As if these deadly snakes weren't already terrifying enough.
10:01 This baby arctic fox really wants to steal a fish, but it's being scolded every time it even thinks about trying anything.
10:13 But then the fox makes those puppy dog eyes and scratches the sand, and the man can't help but let the poor thing just take a fish.
10:21 Trunk on fire.
10:24 Nature is confusing at times.
10:28 Pretty much as confusing as this clip, which looks like it's straight out of Twin Peaks.
10:33 But stranger still is the fact that this isn't special effects.
10:37 It's all real.
10:38 What happened here is that lightning hit a tree and lit its inside on fire.
10:42 What a surreal sight to behold.
10:44 Lightning almost hits.
10:48 Lightning struck this tree literally a couple of seconds after the car went by.
10:54 If the car had somehow been delayed a few seconds, it would have been totally done for.
10:58 But whoever was in that car was on a streak of good luck and nothing happened.
11:03 But it really was too close for comfort.
11:06 [Splash]
11:10 [Scream]
11:11 Lava in house.
11:13 We have to admit that lava is actually really aesthetically pleasing, but it's just as dangerous.
11:22 Don't be fooled by its cool exterior.
11:24 It literally swallows up everything it touches and reduces it to nothing.
11:28 But we still kind of want to take a little dip in it.
11:31 Even though it's probably destroyed these homes by now among further destruction.
11:36 Baby elephant sneezes and scares itself.
11:40 This baby elephant when left behind from the rest of its family sneezed and got scared of itself.
11:47 Queen balling.
11:51 There's the queen in the center of this ball and the rest of the honey bees are actively trying to kill her.
11:59 This is called queen balling and is a common practice among honey bees.
12:03 By making a ball she's going to heat up and practically get cooked to death.
12:07 Yikes, nature is truly brutal.
12:10 Odd request.
12:13 [Gunshot]
12:15 This delivery guy received some pretty strange instructions and they were to just kick the food as hard as he could before dropping it off and leaving.
12:23 So that's just what he did.
12:25 The completion of this bizarre request was caught on the person's CCTV camera too.
12:30 Alright then.
12:32 Lucky rat.
12:34 This rat was scared in a corner even more when these guys began filming.
12:41 Look at the poor thing. It's practically shaking.
12:44 It makes a run for it and runs out onto the road.
12:47 Narrowly escapes being run over by a car and then again.
12:50 And that officially beat three near death experiences in one minute.
12:54 A woman rides three horses.
13:01 This massive animal get together is called the transhumance.
13:04 And it features several thousands of horses and well over three thousand sheep traveling for three whole weeks across the countries of France, Italy and Morocco.
13:13 But the best part would have to be this woman riding three horses at once.
13:17 And looking super relaxed while doing it.
13:27 During winter, some of us complain about cold hand and frozen doorknobs.
13:31 But some people have it way worse.
13:33 While you can get the ice off your car using a dryer, some people have their whole car frozen overnight and glued to the ground.
13:41 But we would expect any less from areas experiencing a temperature of negative 50 degrees Celsius.
13:47 That temperature is enough to help you break apart a car wheel with your foot or even freeze to death any animals outside.
13:54 Pouring hot water in this temperature causes it to freeze immediately.
13:58 It goes without saying that tornadoes are extremely dangerous.
14:07 They can cause serious damage on property and loss of life.
14:11 In Malaysia, a tornado decided to spare a city from destruction.
14:15 The huge tornado was headed for the buildings from the ocean when it reached the shore and disappeared into thin air.
14:21 Literally. The residents of this city must have been praying really hard.
14:25 Summer happens to be the best time to pack your bags and go on vacation, preferably at the beach.
14:36 This was the case for this bunch of people.
14:39 What they never expected was for nature to help them cool off.
14:42 They had to run to safety and get under whatever they could find after a hailstorm hit the city in the middle of summer.
14:49 Mountain reduced in seconds
14:52 We all hear of mountains that once erupted, but to actually see one in action is quite fascinating.
14:59 In 1980, 1.6 kilometers of Mount St. Helen dropped within a matter of seconds after the mountain erupted.
15:06 You better think of this the next time you want to settle near a mountain.
15:10 Fire tornado
15:15 You'd think that tornadoes are already very scary, but wait until you come across a fire tornado.
15:20 Yes, you heard that right, a fire tornado.
15:23 A fire tornado occurs when two fires join into one, causing the air to heat up very quickly.
15:29 The fire tornado can rise up to temperatures of up to 800 degrees Celsius and go as high as 5 kilometers into the air.
15:36 The world's largest known fire tornado occurred back in Japan in the 1920s.
15:41 The funnel reached 183 kilometers high and was up to 305 meters wide and traveling at speeds of 200 kilometers an hour.
15:51 Solving three Rubik's cubes at the same time
15:55 This video just comes to remind you that no matter how good you are, there is probably a kid somewhere that's smarter than you.
16:02 Juggling is hard. Solving a Rubik's cube is even harder, but despite all this, this kid can juggle three Rubik's cubes and solve them at the same time.
16:11 Archer catches arrow blindfolded
16:15 There are some people in this world that are just willing to risk it all.
16:19 I don't know that this is a mastery or bravery, but this archer can catch an arrow coming towards him while blindfolded.
16:27 Free iceberg show
16:32 One of the biggest advantages of living in Canada is getting a show of magnificent icebergs, and especially if you come from the Newfoundland village.
16:40 Here you are bound to be treated to a side of huge icebergs every single year.
16:44 You don't have to pay any tickets because the icebergs will come to you.
16:48 In April 2017, the Fairyland residents were treated to a once-in-a-lifetime show after a huge iceberg came near the coast.
16:57 The mountain made of ice was 147.6 feet high, which is an equivalent of a 17-story building.
17:04 It was also 49.2 feet bigger than the iceberg that led to the sinking of the Titanic.
17:10 Locals say that this was the biggest iceberg that they had ever set their eyes on.
17:15 Starling flocks
17:20 Starlings are birds that are as small as tennis balls and are known to come together in hundreds of thousands to form mind-blowing artistic designs.
17:29 They gather in open fields and are guided by the wind, an instinct to create art like no other.
17:35 Isn't it amazing how they are in perfect sync?
17:38 What we will probably never know is why they do this.
17:41 Any suggestions?
17:43 And that concludes today's video.
17:45 Leave a comment down below and let us know which of these left your jaw on the floor.
