00:00 Twenty countries have failed to reach a comprehensive agreement on climate targets at a meeting
00:05 in India.
00:07 Ministers reached consensus on most issues but couldn't agree on four, including aiming
00:11 to peak emissions by 2025 and moving to clean energy.
00:16 France's representative at the talk said he was very disappointed.
00:21 We are not able to reach an agreement of increasing drastically renewable energies.
00:28 We are not able to reach an agreement on phasing out or down fossil fuels, especially coal.
00:38 And it's just very hard to see what happens outside this hotel, this J20, in the real
00:47 world and to see the difficulties, to find just diplomatic wording on these environmental

01:03 summit in New Delhi in September.
