00:00 Can you move back?
00:02 [squawking]
00:04 Animals and humans have always had a pure connection.
00:07 There are some things that animals just can't get themselves out of,
00:10 and that's what humans are for.
00:13 Whether it's a baby dolphin stuck in some plastic,
00:16 or bunnies under a house, humans will be there with their tools to save the day.
00:21 Sometimes it's even the animals themselves that ask for help from the humans.
00:25 Here are 30 times humans helped animals and got thanked in the cutest way.
00:30 [squawking]
00:32 [squawking]
00:34 White Serval Gets a Nose Surgery
00:38 Here is poor Tonga, a white serval.
00:40 His life was going great until a cancerous mass started to grow on his nose.
00:44 No one from the employees noticed the cancerous mass, but one of the visitors did.
00:49 And after that, the employees raised money for this poor little fellow.
00:52 Tonga then had to go through a painful surgery to get the tumor removed,
00:56 but he wasn't in pain anymore.
00:58 And after that, Tonga would play with the employees more than usual.
01:02 His way of thanking the staff couldn't be cuter.
01:05 Flightless Bird Takes Care of Puppy as Gratitude
01:09 Usually when birds lose their ability to fly, they die out in a few days,
01:13 since nature can be pretty cruel.
01:15 Luckily, a kind couple rescued this pigeon, Herman, and gave it a home.
01:19 The bird took some time adjusting, but soon became grateful for being rescued
01:23 by taking care of this little puppy.
01:25 Herman was found in a parking lot staring and with a weird head tilt.
01:29 The couple fed him and nursed him back to health.
01:32 Rescue Kangaroo Insists on Cuddling with Dad
01:35 Kangaroos are usually solitary animals that like to spend time in the wild
01:39 and roam the wilderness. But not this one.
01:41 Rufus was rescued by this generous Australian family,
01:44 but after the rescue, he still didn't want to join the wilderness.
01:48 That's why in the evening, he knocks on their door to let them in.
01:51 When he sits on the couch like his dad and watches TV till he passes out,
01:55 the family has reserved a seat for him on the couch.
01:58 When everyone goes to bed, so does Rufus.
02:01 Duck Comes to Man for Protection During a Big Fire
02:05 One day, this man's barn was set on fire tragically,
02:08 and this duck was roaming about nearby.
02:11 The duck panicked and flew into this man's arms for some protection.
02:14 After the fire was over, the man decided to adopt him forever,
02:17 since the ducky already had an injured wing from when he was young.
02:20 Since then, this duo became inseparable,
02:23 and every time its owner kisses him, the duck giggles out of excitement.
02:27 Birds Stick to their Rescuer All the Time
02:30 Birds can be really good pets, but rescued ones are even sweeter.
02:34 This man saved a whole nest of baby chicks that could have died out of starvation
02:37 if he didn't adopt them.
02:39 The problem, which hardly seems like a problem here,
02:41 is that they refuse to stay away from him.
02:43 They're always sticking to him as if he's the nest.
02:46 The best part is that he's the only one that can put them to sleep.
02:49 Other than that, there are does feeding them and even bathe them.
02:52 When he's not around, they play with the other members of the family,
02:55 who love them just as much.
02:58 Sperm Whale Asks for Help from Diver
03:01 Sperm whales might be huge, but they're not but gentle giants.
03:04 They're very intelligent and social creatures,
03:07 and this one swam all the way to a diver to ask him for help
03:10 as there was a hook stuck inside its mouth.
03:13 Most animals would run away at the sight of a human,
03:16 but this one did the opposite.
03:18 Even the diver didn't get scared and bravely took the hook out of its mouth.
03:21 After that, it even stayed with the diver for a few head pats.
03:24 Who knew such huge animals could be so soft-hearted?
03:28 Diver Frees Whale from Net and Gets Thanked with a Dance
03:33 Oceanic creatures are the ones that suffer the most due to human activities.
03:37 The tiny ones get stuck in little plastic bits,
03:40 and the bigger ones get stuck in huge nets.
03:42 Just like this poor whale who couldn't get itself out of this net.
03:45 Luckily, a boat full of divers noticed and decided to help the poor guy out.
03:49 One of them swam all the way to it and cut out every piece of net it was entangled in.
03:53 Luckily, they succeeded in freeing him,
03:55 and the whale's token of appreciation made it all worth it.
03:58 It did a beautiful dance and flapped around to show everyone just how happy she was.
04:03 Octopus Pulls Man into Water Gently
04:06 Sometimes rescuing animals doesn't mean saving them from a fire or surgically removing a hook.
04:11 Sometimes it's just placing them back into the water that helps.
04:14 Since humans like to spend time at the beach a lot, animals can get misplaced a lot.
04:19 A young man noticed that a small little octopus was stranded out of water.
04:23 He picked it up in a little cup and put it back where it belonged.
04:26 The octopus took a few minutes to recover.
04:28 After that, the octopus wanted the human to see its house and pulled at its feet to come into the water.
04:33 Looks like he wanted the man to meet Ariel.
04:36 Donkey Runs Back to Owner After Getting Lost for Months
04:40 Do you remember how scary it was to lose your mom at the grocery store?
04:43 Well, this is exactly how this poor donkey felt.
04:46 He was separated from his family when a wildfire burst near his house.
04:50 Baby Mango was lost for months, but the owner didn't lose hope.
04:53 One lucky day, they heard a familiar sound.
04:56 It was Mango rushing back to them to greet his owner.
04:59 He was so eager to meet his owner that he couldn't run fast enough.
05:03 Beluga Whale Has a Crush on Her Rescuer
05:06 Beluga whales are the cutest creatures ever.
05:09 Not only because of how adorable they are, but also because of how friendly they are.
05:13 After this one was rescued, it developed a little crush on one of the employees.
05:17 It would jump out of the water to kiss it.
05:19 The cute little whale spends all day playing with just one employee.
05:22 And even when there were other employees around, this one would just want to play with her crush.
05:27 How adorable is this?
05:29 Oh, hi!
05:31 Rescued Octopus Came Back to Thank Us
05:35 Helena and her family spent their holiday at the Red Sea.
05:38 One day, while walking on the beach, they saw a stranded octopus in the sand.
05:42 They didn't know whether it was alive or not, but still pushed it back into the water.
05:46 After a while, it recovered and simply swam away without any gestures.
05:49 The next day, Helena and her family were at the beach.
05:52 They saw something in the water.
05:54 It was the same octopus they had saved earlier.
05:56 The smart fellow recognized his rescuers and wanted to thank them.
06:00 Man Frees a Fox Cub from a Tin Can
06:03 Fox cubs are really cute animals, but unfortunately, they're not the smartest.
06:07 Somehow, this cub got stuck in a tin can.
06:10 It was bought not as tiny as it thought it was and managed to get his head stuck in the can.
06:14 The helpless little cub kept moving here and there, all confused until a man saw the pup and decided to help.
06:20 After some maneuvering, he was able to get the can off of him.
06:23 The cub wanted to thank him so much, he just went near him and sat there for some head pats.
06:28 Rescued Kangaroo Can't Stop Hugging the Volunteers Who Saved Her Life
06:33 Kangaroos are pretty emotional creatures and remember people they're close to.
06:38 This poor baby kangaroo was rescued from a wildfire by a few volunteers located in a sanctuary in Australia.
06:44 It became so attached to them that it wouldn't stop hugging them.
06:48 He was so thankful to be safe and happy that he didn't want to let go of her rescuers at all.
06:53 The woman in the video is editor-in-chief Laura Brown for Style,
06:57 and she wanted to show everyone just how adorable and soft-hearted even kangaroos can be.
07:03 Team of Rescuers Saved Bunnies
07:06 Sometimes people don't give bunnies the same attention as they do to dogs and cats.
07:10 This rescue team was called when a few neighbors found out that there was a whole family of bunnies stuck inside the house somewhere.
07:16 After catching the parent rabbits, they had to find their little babies.
07:20 But some of the bunnies were actually stuck deep under somewhere since rabbits like to sit down in burrows.
07:25 The third bunny was so scared that it started to dig into another hole to escape.
07:29 It took the team about four hours to get all the bunnies to safety.
07:33 Luckily, when they got comfortable enough, they wouldn't leave their rescuers side.
07:37 I got you! I got you, bunny, bunny, bunny, bunny, bunny!
07:42 Dolphins Stuck in Plastic Bag Jumps the Dank Rescuer
07:46 Dolphins are one of the smartest creatures that live in the ocean.
07:49 But sometimes they also need some help, especially when they're stuck in garbage like plastic bags.
07:54 Thankfully, a fisherman was roaming the seas at the time when he noticed that the dolphin was struggling to swim.
07:59 He stopped his boat near it and took a closer look.
08:02 After pulling it out of the water and cutting it free, he simply put the baby dolphin back into the water.
08:07 But the dolphin was so happy, it couldn't stop jumping up and down in the water to show its gratitude.
08:12 Owl Treated Back to Health Couldn't Stop Hugging Her Rescuers
08:17 Owls tend to live alone, which can make it harder to treat them with an illness.
08:21 This one even had a massive concussion and was full of parasites.
08:25 Moreover, it also had a condition similar to pneumonia.
08:28 Gigi lost about two pounds because of her illness.
08:31 But when a rescuer team reached out to this poor creature, she was treated so well that Gigi started to trust the staff easily.
08:38 She would eat her own food and gain back her weight.
08:41 She was so happy and wanted to show her happiness, so she wouldn't stop hugging her rescuers.
08:46 Pigeon Wouldn't Leave Autistic Woman After She Saves Her Life
08:53 Ash, an autistic woman, spouted a helpless little baby pigeon on the ground.
08:58 And she was afraid it might get run over by something since there were horses around.
09:02 So she decided to take it in.
09:04 Her original plan was to nurse it back to health.
09:06 However, when she released him into the wild, he just came back again and again.
09:10 The best part is, Ash had always had a special connection with animals, but this one just felt different.
09:16 Dolphin Released to Sea Comes Back to Zookeepers
09:19 A lot of us know that Sea World is the best place for aquatic creatures to live.
09:23 So these zookeepers decided to let these dolphins back into the ocean.
09:26 They had to be trained to go back into the wild.
09:29 As fits, it seemed like they were learning, but slowly they started to catch their own prey.
09:33 Even after training, the dolphins would come back to the zookeepers to say hi and thank them.
09:38 How adorable!
09:40 Sloth Saved from a Busy Road
09:42 Crossing a busy road is a very terrifying moment for both humans and animals.
09:46 But it's even more terrifying for the world's slowest animal.
09:50 This sloth was found in the middle of the road, trying so hard to cross over to the other side during rush hour.
09:56 Luckily for this sloth, a man was kind enough to rescue it from the high possibility of being run over by a car.
10:01 He got out of his car, picked up the sloth, and quickly crossed the road and ran out of the sloth with its natural habitat.
10:07 A tree.
10:08 This has got to be the fastest that this sloth has ever moved.
10:12 Once it was safely clutching around the tree chunk, the man waved to the sloth goodbye.
10:16 Surprisingly, the sloth turned its head and lifted its hand and gave him the world's slowest and sweetest wave.
10:23 Lion Saved from Traveling Circus
10:27 Yes, the king of the jungle may need your help from time to time.
10:30 Juniper, the lion, was from a traveling circus where he was unfortunately abused and also suffered from severe malnutrition.
10:37 His rescuer was Anna Julia Torres, who saw it fit that the lion be placed in a zoo where he'd be fed and cared for.
10:44 Years later, Anna went to the zoo to see Juniper.
10:47 Surprisingly, Juniper remembered Anna and couldn't contain his joy.
10:51 He jumped up and put his forelimbs around her and pulled her closer to give her the biggest hug.
10:57 Squirrel Saved from Owl
11:00 In 2009, Brantley Harrison and her family came across a squirrel that had been attacked by an owl.
11:05 Surviving the attack only meant that the squirrel had been left with serious injuries.
11:09 Brantley took it upon herself to feed and nurse the squirrel back to health.
11:13 Five months later, Brantley released the squirrel, which she named Bella, back to the wild.
11:18 To show her gratitude for all the kindness she had received from Brantley's family, Bella kept visiting the family for eight years.
11:24 How cute is that?
11:27 Orphaned Gorilla
11:30 There are only a handful of people in the world who have the privilege of hanging out with gorillas.
11:35 One of those people is Patrick Karabaranga.
11:38 Patrick is a warden at Viryanga National Park in Congo.
11:43 He showed compassion to an adolescent gorilla when it needed it most.
11:47 He met the gorilla just when his parents had been shot dead by poachers.
11:50 Together they formed one of the most adorable and unbreakable bonds there is.
11:55 Patrick's reward is that he gets to hang out and play with the orphaned gorilla and a bunch of others.
12:00 They even take selfies together. Who wouldn't want that?
12:04 Benji the Bobcat
12:06 You've got to agree with me that kids have the warmest hearts.
12:09 They're known for doing the unthinkable.
12:11 Throwing caution to the wind when it comes to helping others.
12:14 That's exactly what happened here.
12:16 Benji the Bobcat was rescued by the little boy during the wildfires that happened in western US.
12:21 Imagine the shock of his parents. He showed up on the front door with an injured bobcat.
12:26 Gladly they let him keep it and care for him.
12:29 And this little boy gets to hear the purrs and experience the snuggles of a happy bobcat.
12:34 Poppy gets a home
12:36 Every human would appreciate a little waggle on a dog's tail.
12:39 But this only comes when a dog is happy.
12:41 This cute puppy was found all alone lying next to the body of his mom who had been run over by a vehicle.
12:47 We can't bring ourselves to imagine what he felt at that moment.
12:50 Luckily two people were able to rescue it after a long struggle.
12:53 The poor puppy was so scared and just wanted to keep his head against the wall.
12:57 Even feeding him was an uphill task.
12:59 Luckily his rescuers didn't give up on him.
13:01 They even socialized him and he can finally waggle his tail in excitement.
13:06 Swan stuck in a fence
13:09 Swans look very graceful but believe me they are better off left alone.
13:13 An inch closer to their territory will only cause them to come running, ready to attack.
13:18 Richard Wise was on and about filming his show at the Absinthebury Swantery
13:25 when he noticed a swan that had gotten itself stuck in a chain link fence.
13:29 Without taking a second thought he freed the swan from the fence.
13:32 The swan then jumped into Richard's arms.
13:35 Now usually you'd expect the swan to attack but it didn't.
13:38 Instead it wrapped its long neck around Richard's neck.
13:42 Years later Richard visited the same spot and shockingly the swan recognized him and rushed to embrace him.
13:48 [Squawking]
13:51 Meganelec penguin saved from oil
13:54 In 2011 Dindin the magneletic penguin waddled his way into Jao Pereira de Souza's backyard
14:00 which opens up to a beach in Brazil.
14:02 Dindin was young, covered in oil and on the brink of dying.
14:05 The old retired mason wasn't going to let Dindin die.
14:08 He washed the oil off of his body and even gave it sardines for a couple of days.
14:12 When Dindin had recovered, Yao released him back to the sea.
14:15 He didn't want to leave.
14:17 He came back and extended his stay until he was ready to leave on its own.
14:21 Every single year since then it's said that Dindin swims 5,000 miles just to pay his debt of gratitude.
14:27 The reunion is to die for.
14:30 Jimbo the bear
14:32 Jimbo the bear is an over 20 year old grizzly bear that has been under the care of Orphan Wildlife Center New York.
14:39 This is thanks to Jim and his wife who rescued Jimbo when he was still a tiny cub.
14:44 And because of this simple act of kindness the couple got to play with Jimbo.
14:47 An experience that many only wish they had.
14:49 They also get to have the biggest bear hugs.
14:52 Hugging a stuffed teddy bear was nothing on this.
14:56 Deer rescued from hunters
14:59 While some people like deer meat so much that they actively hunt them,
15:02 others are all about preservation of wildlife.
15:05 Such as Kvam, the elderly woman in Norway that successfully rescued a deer from hunters.
15:10 Flippin the stag had a way of saying thank you to the woman.
15:13 He showed up to her window every day.
15:15 Not once, but twice a day.
15:17 For a lonely old lady, Kvam doesn't mind Flippin's company at all.
15:21 Flippin the deer would sometimes sit outside her house until she woke up.
15:25 He would only leave once he's had some pets and bread.
15:29 That's a wrap for 30 times humans helped animals and got thanked in the cutest way.
