Ken Tucker, Entertainment Weekly
Wallace and Gromit, the world's most engaging human-canine combo, are in for the adventure of a lifetime when the mysterious penguin rents a room in their house. Wallace is perfecting his latest invention: techno-trousers — mechanical pants that can walk and even climb walls by themselves. But the plotting penguin sees a tailor-made criminal opportunity, and plans to press the pants — and Wallace — into a dastardly diamond heist. Now only Gromit can save him from the felonious fish-eater's scheme!
Created by Oscar®-winning animator Nick Park, and featuring captivating characters and hilarious, hair-raising action, it's a roller coaster ride that takes clay animation to a new level of imagination and invention!
WINNER! 1993 Academy Award® Best Animated Short Film
A Close Shave
"A unique brand of filmmaking...The results are something to see!"
Leonard Maltin, Entertainment Tonight
A wave of sheep rustling sweeps the countryside, but Wallace and Gromit are too busy with their new window washing service to notice even the lamb that's consuming their home a mouthful at a time. All that changes when they're hired to clean the windows of a wool shop. While Wallace is swooning over the lovely shop owner, Wendolene Ramsbottom, her malevolent dog Preston casts his evil eyes on Gromit. Soon Gromit stands accused and convicted of being the sheep-napper, while the true villain uses Wallace's newest invention, a Knit-O-Matic machine, to weave a wicked criminal conspiracy. It's going to take a daring jail-break, the help of a whole flock of sheep, and a wild and wooly chase before Wallace and Gromit can unravel the mystery behind this incredible yarn.
