00:14 You're strong.
00:15 You got this.
00:16 A new beginning, Joe.

00:30 The hat looks pretty cool.
00:31 Yeah, it does.
00:32 It's a different look.
00:35 You definitely look like a boy, Dad.
00:38 Yep.
00:39 Watch your--
00:41 Dad.
00:42 [LAUGHTER]
00:44 Oh, no, actually.
00:47 How do I look, Mommy?
00:49 You look amazing, as always.
00:52 Thank you, Claudia.
00:53 Pleasure.
00:54 [CHEERING]
00:57 [INAUDIBLE]
01:00 You just get those little--
01:02 Yeah.
01:03 [APPLAUSE]
01:06 What do you think, you two?
01:09 What an amazing, amazing, seriously, you two.
01:13 [INAUDIBLE]
01:16 As it turns out, we'd never have chosen this.
01:20 But sometimes, life, you don't get to choose.
01:25 And so we all have to ask the question of ourselves,
01:28 what are we going to do with each day of our lives,
01:30 and how are we going to make a difference?
01:32 And I was really raised to try and do something with my life.
01:35 And I hope this has made a difference to some women who
01:38 are thinking about getting a test.
01:41 Go and get a test.
01:42 If it's earlier, you won't have to go through as much.
01:46 And for those who are going through it, I see you.
01:50 I really see you.
01:51 And I know what you're going through.
01:52 And it's hard.
01:54 But the whole community is behind you.
01:58 And I'm feeling that very much now, too.
02:00 [MUSIC PLAYING]
02:08 It's really intense.
02:10 And I'm sick for a week afterwards.
02:13 It starts again on Thursday.
02:14 So we've planned this for a good day.
02:17 And then I'll just disappear into my family
02:19 and my home for a week and walk up in the hills above my house.
02:24 And the greens will have a laugh in the assembly.
02:28 I'll go and touch some trees and get in touch with nature,
02:33 literally.
02:34 And then I'll emerge each time.
02:36 And then I'll get ready for the next one.
02:38 And I'm not the only person in Canberra going through this.
02:41 There are many people who sit in the chairs of the chemo units.
02:44 And they are all so brave to just keep on doing that,
02:48 to be here for their families, to be here for their work
02:50 they have to do on this earth.

02:59 Ah, I can't wait to see the kids' reaction.
03:24 Liliana already said I look like a boy with lipstick.
03:30 My daughter, I said to her this morning,
03:31 do I look like a mess?
03:32 And she said, yeah, but it's marketable, mum,
03:34 so go with it.
03:37 So I'm actually really happy to look less like a mess.
03:39 And my big boys will absolutely laugh their heads off.
03:45 Because like I said, for years I ribbed them
03:47 about shaving their heads too short.
03:50 And I would say, don't do that.
03:52 No, that's not a good look.
03:55 People will judge you.
03:56 Anyway, that's going to be my joy now.
03:58 Yeah.
03:58 [INAUDIBLE]
04:02 All right.
04:04 Excellent.
04:04 Thank god.
04:06 That's the one on the side.
