00:00 >> The students play a lot of man coverage, which ends up putting linebackers
00:03 against tight ends and running backs.
00:05 How confident are you in coverage?
00:06 >> Very confident, very confident in myself.
00:08 Very confident in my ability to go out there and make plays.
00:12 >> You've had some pretty bad injuries throughout your career.
00:15 Has that been part of the reason for this signing in July with other teams being
00:20 wary?
00:21 >> I'm not really worrying about the past.
00:23 I can't get the past, but I'm worried about the future right now.
00:26 >> And how's the future with you overcoming your injuries?
00:29 >> Future look amazing, legendary.
00:30 I'm ready to go out there and play.
00:32 >> How much have those injuries kind of changed how you are as a player,
00:35 the way that you approach things?
00:36 >> Nothing's changed.
00:37 I'm always glad to be myself.
00:39 I don't worry about injuries.
00:40 That was calm during games.
00:42 You gotta be able to take care of yourself like I did last year,
00:44 played a whole four seasons.
00:45 You guys just know how to take care of yourself.
00:48 >> As you look ahead to what you have to show in this camp,
00:49 do you feel like you're playing catch up a little bit just cuz you weren't here in
00:52 OTAs and mini camp?
00:53 >> I'm year nine, man.
00:54 Most of the stuff really the same, just different terminology.
00:57 I just gotta get back out here on the field, just practice those reps, and
01:00 I should be straight.
01:00 >> Is that why you were able to get out there in some team stuff at the end of it?
01:03 >> Yeah, for sure, yeah.
01:04 I caught on real quick.
01:05 Getting the reps made it a lot better.
01:07 So once I get these practice reps under me, I'll be straight.
01:10 >> What are you wondering at all,
01:11 if you're gonna get the call with this stage, game throwing starting?
01:14 >> Get the call as what?
01:15 >> Sign somewhere.
01:16 >> No, I'm not worried about that.
01:17 I'm good.
01:18 >> What are your early impressions of Aaron Curry, linebackers coach?
01:21 >> Yeah, he's cool, man.
01:22 He knows what he's talking about.
01:23 I'm happy to be playing on him.
01:25 >> You got here two days before they're gonna put the pads on.
01:27 You're eager to already show your second practice.
01:31 >> Yeah, that's me, man.
01:32 I ain't worried about no 7 on 7.
01:33 I put the pads on, I hit.
01:35 As you can see, you can go watch film.
01:37 >> You played against- >> Do you have a relationship with anybody
01:39 on the team here before you signed?
01:41 >> Yeah, I got a couple homies out here I train with in Miami and stuff like that.
01:44 So I know a couple faces, Aaron's home, but I haven't played against him.
01:47 So we all cool, so.
01:49 >> I was gonna say, you played against this offense last year, week four,
01:51 with the Jets.
01:52 What do you remember about that game?
01:53 Whether it's Pickett or Najee or anybody who you saw that day.
01:56 >> I remember that big hit I had.
02:00 >> Najee, man.
02:00 I remember they played hard, no football, man.
02:02 I respect every guy on that team.
02:04 Like I said, even the coach told me, you know what I'm saying?
02:06 I just respect him, so.
02:08 >> Cool, all right.
