Senior Pawar will be facilitating the PM in Pune during the Lokmanya Tilak National Award for 2023 event in recognition of his ‘supreme leadership’ and for ‘awakening the feeling of patriotism among citizens’. Now Pawar”s decision of attending this event has not gone well with INDIA leaders that is the united opposition leaders. They claim it will be not a good optic at a time when they are locked in a head-on battle with the government demanding a statement from Mr. Modi on Manipur unrest. Interestingly, NCP Sharad Pawar Karyakartas along with some social activists are going to protest on PM Modi”s visit showing black flags. Now they say their protest is against prime minister Modi not visiting Manipur which is under unrest for the last 90 days. Sharad Pawar is a veteran leader and an important face of the united opposition and the united opposition is going to be meeting for the 3rd show of strength in Mumbai and MVA is going to be looking after the arrangements next month. So at this point, senior Pawar facilitating PM Modi for his supreme leadership will surely create doubts in both peoples as well as political leaders' minds and will send a wrong message as Sharad Pawar and his faction has been slamming the BJP over the split and now this facilitation will only raise more questions. Reports are Congress president Malikarajun Kharge has dialed Sharad Pawar to convince him to not attend the event.
