00:05 readers a very happy Yorkshire Day. On August 1st I've got a day off and I'm going to spend

00:11 it enjoying some of the beautiful scenery of this lovely county such as here at Goldsborough

00:16 Hall where I've got a meeting today. I also plan to go into Harrogate and have a fat rascal

00:22 at Betty's Tea Rooms, so a real proper Yorkshire treat. However you're going to spend it, have

00:28 a wonderful one. Happy Yorkshire Day from me.

00:31 The people. I don't think you can find better people than Yorkshire people. Oh, we've got

00:37 great food and we can drink the tap water here.

00:40 I think we should be proud of what we've got. There's so much talk about what goes on in

00:43 the South but we've got so much of our doorstep and we need to celebrate that more and really

00:48 get out there and explore Yorkshire because there's some amazing places to visit.

00:52 Special message to everybody in Yorkshire is keep being proud of where you're from.

00:57 Yorkshire born and bred. We are generally some of the nicest people you're going to

01:01 meet and it's so great to see so many incredible things happening in Yorkshire. So don't forget,
