00:02 Hi, it's Leanne, and I'm gonna walk you through
00:06 my skincare routine and a quick date night look.
00:09 I'm gonna be using my Purifying Gel Cleanser to pump.
00:14 I've been using this brand,
00:16 I'd say for like five years now.
00:18 I think when you find something that really works for you,
00:20 it's kind of hard to turn back.
00:23 Active C and E peptides,
00:25 this is basically a vitamin C and like an antioxidant.
00:28 I used to have really bad skin growing up.
00:30 I was trying loads of different products
00:32 and nothing really was working.
00:33 And I was on the X Factor,
00:34 was lucky enough to have somebody come in
00:36 to talk to us about our skin and help us.
00:38 And from then, I think that was when my obsession
00:41 with skin started.
00:42 I'm gonna put on my Even Tone Brightening Facial Serum.
00:47 I had hyperpigmentation, my dermatologist recommended it.
00:51 It really has brightened up my face and evened out my skin.
00:54 I'm kind of obsessed with facials.
00:56 I feel like I probably get them done like once a month.
00:59 I'm gonna put on my Green Fancy Eye Masks.
01:05 I am nonstop back-to-back promo in the States.
01:12 Jet lagged, tired being a mom.
01:14 Definitely is harder to like really look after myself
01:19 and take time for myself,
01:21 especially in my skincare routine.
01:23 'Cause it is important, you know,
01:24 self-love and looking after yourself.
01:26 'Cause if you're not doing that,
01:27 then you're not gonna be the best version of yourself
01:30 for them anyway.
01:31 Now that I'm getting ready to literally,
01:34 like I'm launching my solo career and my singles out,
01:37 getting ready to do performances,
01:39 I really have to look after myself.
01:41 And I'm like notorious for like talking a lot
01:44 and shouting and screaming and singing and being silly.
01:47 So yeah, that's all gotta come down.
01:50 The honey and water is coming out.
01:55 Hydra-Lite Facial Moisturizer.
01:57 The SPF.
02:01 And I kind of pat it on as well,
02:04 'cause I think you want it to kind of still sit
02:07 on the surface a bit.
02:08 Brightening eye cream today as well,
02:09 just because I'm feeling a little bit tired.
02:12 Growing up, we used a lot of cocoa butter.
02:17 So I think I've got an obsession
02:18 with like natural body butters,
02:21 Shea butter, Island Organics body butter,
02:24 which I got from Turks and Caicos.
02:26 Lip balm, and this is hard mix.
02:31 And to be honest,
02:32 it's like the only thing that really works for me.
02:34 We are gonna get onto the fun bit
02:37 and we're gonna do my date night look.
02:40 So I normally keep my makeup quite natural.
02:42 Charlotte Tilbury foundation.
02:44 So when I was in the group Little Mix,
02:53 we had about four hours for glam.
02:55 We only had one makeup artist.
02:57 So if you went first,
03:00 then you had to wait a whole like hour or whatever
03:03 with your face literally just melting off.
03:06 It's definitely sad not having my sisters
03:08 around me all the time.
03:09 And they're literally just on the other side of the phone
03:10 and we are so tight and yeah, I'm so lucky to have that.
03:13 It feels slightly surreal to be a solo artist.
03:18 I mean, everything is all of a sudden all about you.
03:20 I think the moment where it first struck me
03:22 was when the video for "Don't Say Love"
03:24 walked on set and everyone was there just for me.
03:27 And I was just like, girl, you better let this sink in
03:31 'cause this is just incredible.
03:33 Pat McGrath concealers.
03:35 Feels incredible knowing that "Don't Say Love"
03:49 is like finally in the world
03:51 and the reception's been incredible,
03:53 better than I could have ever imagined.
03:54 The songwriting process has been wicked.
03:57 I think to be able to walk into a room
03:58 and just say whatever's on my heart
04:00 and say whatever I feel
04:02 and not have to compromise on that is pretty incredible.
04:05 And I really got to express what was on my heart
04:09 and what was weighing heavy on my chest.
04:11 I got to express that in "Don't Say Love."
04:13 I think what's exciting is this is just the beginning.
04:15 Like there is just so much to come.
04:17 So I'm gonna use some of the Charlotte Tilbury
04:19 cream bronzer.
04:20 Cream blush.
04:25 My date nights normally consist of just like
04:27 a nice restaurant with foodies, me and my husband.
04:30 Me and my husband, sounds good.
04:31 I like to apply my brush not too close
04:36 to the inside of my face,
04:38 just kind of like on the outside of the T-zone.
04:41 Fenty highlighter, which I'm gonna use a little bit of
04:45 just on my cheekbones.
04:48 (upbeat music)
04:50 Rihanna is definitely somebody that I look up to.
04:53 Rihanna's used her platform to try and make a change
04:56 like is such an inspiring thing
04:58 and something that I've always wanted to do,
05:00 I think even like from the beginning of my career.
05:02 I have this platform, why do I not use it for good?
05:05 And that was why it was so important for me
05:07 to start the Black Fund as well,
05:09 foundation that is almost like a helping hand
05:12 to other black charities out there
05:13 that are already doing incredible work.
05:14 This is Refy.
05:16 My brows are really thick, but I love it.
05:20 To be honest, I get them done maybe like once a month
05:23 'cause I like them to grow out.
05:24 Kind of digging this whole wild brow thing,
05:26 not gonna lie.
05:27 On stage, gloss is generally a no-no
05:41 because hair, like things getting into it,
05:43 more likely to just spread across your face
05:46 and yeah, we don't want that.
05:47 So yeah, matte is definitely good for stage.
05:50 This is just like a sort of natural color.
05:53 We're gonna set the makeup
05:59 and also it's quite hydrating facial mist as well.
06:01 This is Dr. Barbara Stern.
06:03 I'm all done for my date night with my husband.
06:08 We're gonna have a good time
06:09 and this has been amazing, thank you.
