00:00 Do you realize that you have the most carries of anybody in this training camp?
00:04 Didn't realize that, no.
00:06 It's uh, severe.
00:08 I don't think it's a terrible idea.
00:10 You know, you just put the ball in your best athlete's hand and see what happens.
00:14 [laughter]
00:16 Garner, how pleased were you with your own play today?
00:20 Um, you know, there's always good, there's always bad.
00:23 Things you want to do better.
00:25 I feel like the energy, the competition has been great at practice.
00:28 I think as long as we carry that, we carry the attention to detail, we'll be good.
00:32 Um, you know, I think always, you know, you want tomorrow to be a little better than today, though.
00:36 Obviously, there's so many storylines going on with JT, with Richardson.
00:40 How are you kind of making sure you stay within yourself and shine, maybe in the shadows a little bit at this camp?
00:46 Yeah, you know, I think everybody, you know, you all think we worry about all these different stories.
00:50 Like, we're all just trying to do, put the best camp out there we can.
00:53 You know, we all have jobs to do.
00:55 We all want to do it to the best of our ability.
00:57 Um, so I mean, I think all that other stuff, you know, I don't think quite matters as much as you all would like it to.
01:04 What's something you learned in year one, in training camp in the NFL that you maybe not passed along to Anthony?
01:13 Oh man, um, I don't know. I think it's just a different type of workload, different type of workday.
01:18 You know, the things that you have to do for your body to get ready, the things you have to do mentally to get ready.
01:23 The study habits are different.
01:25 Um, so I've given him a few things, you know, things I did help him to learn in the offense.
01:28 Things I learned, you know, try to walk through plays, practice the play calls.
01:32 Um, you know, trying to help him, you know, with things like that.
01:35 Berger, how has the game changed down in the red zone?
01:38 Uh, you know, everything gets a little tighter.
01:40 Windows are tighter and guys a little more covered.
01:42 Catches are going to be contested.
01:44 Um, you know, I thought we had some good plays down there.
01:48 Um, you know, just always trying to take care of the ball and score touchdowns.
01:51 You guys are now with...
01:53 The intensity has ramped up the last few days. I know Shane made a big point of Saturday.
01:56 You guys are really going to get after a night practice.
01:58 Full pads today. How much do you kind of thrive as the intensity ramps up?
02:02 And how do you see the response from the rest of the guys as you get into really the thick of camp this week?
02:07 Yeah, I think it's a lot of fun when you compete, you know, make it feel real.
02:10 Um, you know, these camps, they get long, you know, these practices day after day.
02:15 Uh, it's great to have the kind of juice in the competition and kind of the, I don't know,
02:19 I guess like the brotherly competitive spirit that we got going on out here.
02:23 That makes it a lot of fun, you know.
02:24 You need a little bit of that shit talk to kind of get you woke up some days.
02:27 You guys have been without Jonathan and now Zach with yesterday's injury.
02:31 What have you seen from Deion and Evan specifically that lets you know you guys will be fine?
02:35 Yeah, they've done a great job, man.
02:37 I think it starts with our up front, you know, these offensive linemen.
02:40 They're moving on their double teams, getting great movement in the run game, communicating awesome.
02:44 I think they've done a great job setting up the run game.
02:47 I think Deion, Evan, all our guys have been hitting it hard, been doing some good things in the past game,
02:53 getting out, catching the ball.
02:55 So I think we feel really good about those guys.
02:58 Gardner, you're reaching forward with Coach Steichen, obviously.
03:00 How vocal is Cam Turner out there on the practice field with you guys?
03:04 Cam's awesome, man.
03:05 It's kind of, we all come back together, you know, whether it's at the end of a period or end of a drive
03:09 and kind of recap what's going on and then just get us turned back around to go for the next track.
03:15 Cam's been awesome.
03:16 I think we've got a really, really great group right now that's all trying to help, all trying to compete,
03:21 and all trying to win.
03:22 What stood out to you about Kyle Branson, all the time you got to know him?
03:25 Yeah, man, Kyle's got juice, man.
03:27 He can get open.
03:28 He's got a little shake.
03:29 He's fast.
03:30 He's smart.
03:31 He knows how to run routes, knows how to win.
03:34 He's a great guy to throw to, man.
03:36 I'm excited for him.
03:37 What have you been happy with the most of these last two days for you personally with pads on?
03:42 I don't know, man.
03:43 I think we've, you know, moved the ball well.
03:45 Threw the first pick at camp today.
03:47 You know, that's no fun, but, you know, I think we've done a great job taking care of the ball,
03:51 staying in front of the chains, making some plays on the third down when we need to.
03:56 I think it's just a battle of consistency for us.
