00:00:00 These were the darkest days the world has ever known.
00:00:14 There were a lot of theories about how it happened.
00:00:18 Some thought it had to do with the tale of a comet that had passed too close to the earth.
00:00:23 Others simply believed it was time for man to atone for thousands of years of sinning.
00:00:28 If that were true, it makes one wonder how long this would go on.
00:00:33 It had already been some fifty years now.
00:00:37 But no one really knew what brought them to life.
00:00:40 They just came out of the ground.
00:00:42 Millions of them.
00:00:43 And hungry.

00:04:50 Night time.
00:04:55 Come on out girls. We don't want to hurt you, we just want to help.
00:05:01 Ladies.
00:05:03 Whoa! Hi. Okay.
00:05:08 Okay, okay. Don't.
00:05:11 Need some help there little bro?
00:05:13 No. I'm glad you showed up. I thought I might have to kill one or two of them.
00:05:17 Yeah. Right. Come on. Let's get out of here before it's one of them shot.
00:05:24 Come on. Come on, move it!
00:05:29 Those who were strong enough to survive the initial onslaught had taken up in small bands and trained as soldiers to fight them as best we could.
00:05:37 Soldiers who would dedicate their lives to fighting a war that could not be won.
00:05:41 A war of never ending battles.
00:05:44 A war where all that winning meant is that you live another day.
00:05:48 Men and women alike were trained in every type of combat imaginable from the time they were very young.
00:05:54 It was a hard life. A very hard life.
00:05:57 Every day filled with nightmares and heartache.
00:06:01 But at least it was a life. And it was more than a lot of people had.

00:07:53 We worked hard to re-educate these slave people.
00:07:56 We set up classes to teach them to talk and read and write.
00:08:00 Because while living with the zombies, they had never even heard speech before.
00:08:04 And then we would teach them to fight.

00:30:21 and the days turned into more days,
00:30:23 and very little else changed in almost two weeks.
00:30:27 David was, however, able to put together
00:30:29 a crude map of the farm and where he was being held.
00:30:32 He carried it with him every second of every day,
00:30:34 just waiting for the right chance to plant it
00:30:36 on one of the zombies that would go out into the woods

00:30:42 killed that zombie and found the map,
00:30:44 they would know he was here
00:30:45 because the map carried his mark,

00:53:33 You need a gun?
00:53:35 Are you telling me you can't get this thing done without a gun?
00:53:38 I went to see him with a knife, but he's just too big.
00:53:44 He'd kill me for sure.
00:53:46 Jesus, sliver. How the hell did you get this job, anyway?
00:53:49 I volunteered.
00:53:51 Oh, come on. It's a rhetorical...
00:53:54 Forget it.
00:53:56 Look, I'm going to give you this gun.
00:53:59 But you better make damn sure you get the job done, understand?
00:54:02 Yes, sir. I understand perfect.
00:54:04 You better get it done, sliver, or those zombies will be having sliver and onions for dinner. Got it?
00:54:10 Don't worry. I will get it done.
00:54:14 Make sure you do, sliver.
00:54:17 Make sure you do.
00:54:21 Name's cap. Leader of the eagle three.
00:54:38 General eagle seven. Is this all you got?
00:54:41 Well, there are not many. They aren't too pretty either, but they're damn good fighters.
00:54:47 I'm sure they are. Any word from the others?
00:54:52 I don't want to say this in front of everyone. Let's walk.
00:54:57 Spit it out. What the hell's going on?
00:55:02 The other regiments aren't coming.
00:55:04 Why the hell not?
00:55:06 To be honest with you, I don't really know, but I think it's got something to do with that zombie farm where your man's being held.
00:55:12 Well, that makes no sense to me because I thought we were all in this together.
00:55:15 I know. That's the way I see it too, but I think there's some people that might see it differently.
00:55:19 How so?
00:55:21 Well, there's some people who think that farm is a good idea.
00:55:28 Are you trying to tell me that there are people behind what happened inside that farm?
00:55:32 I can't answer that.
00:55:34 Why not?
00:55:36 Because I don't know. It's just a hunch I got.
00:55:40 Well, if there are, they're going to die with those pus bags.
00:55:46 I'll understand if you want to go.
00:55:50 That's not my style. We're with you all the way.
00:55:54 Glad to hear it.
00:55:56 When do you want to move out?
00:55:57 Right now.
00:55:58 Let's do it.
00:56:03 Star, listen to me.
00:56:05 We're getting out of here really soon, okay?
00:56:08 We're going. When we do, all hell is going to break loose, so I need you to stay close.
00:56:14 Do you understand?
00:56:16 Stay close.
00:56:18 Star...
00:56:22 Stay close.
00:56:25 That's right.
00:56:27 That's right, Star.
00:56:30 Psst.
00:56:32 What's up, man?
00:56:45 I got what you asked for.
00:56:48 How'd you get it so quick?
00:56:53 I went to my people and I told them I needed it to kill you.
00:56:57 You only have one clip and 15 rounds, so you better make it count.
00:57:02 Create a diversion outside in 15 minutes.
00:57:04 When you hear gunfire, go into the woods and run east. You got that?
00:57:09 East. I got it.
00:57:11 We're getting out of here, baby.
00:57:15 We're getting out of here today.
00:57:24 [♪♪♪]
00:57:28 [♪♪♪]
00:57:32 [♪♪♪]
00:57:58 Hey! Hey, come and get it! Come on, you freaking push-back!
00:58:01 Come on! Come on!
00:58:03 David, now's the time, man! Do your thing!
00:58:06 Come on!
00:58:08 Time to go.
00:58:11 Come on.
00:58:13 Bye-bye.
00:58:28 Come on, you fuckers! Come on!
00:58:31 Let's go, man!
00:58:33 Come on, let's go! Come on!
00:58:37 You want to live, don't you?
00:58:46 Yeah. Live.
00:58:49 You can talk.
00:58:51 Yeah.
00:58:53 What's your name?
00:58:55 John.
00:58:57 Okay, John. I want you to get these people out of here and follow me. Got it?
00:59:01 Okay.
00:59:03 The woods, man! Go for the woods!
00:59:24 [growling]
00:59:26 John! John!
00:59:30 [growling]
00:59:32 I need you to take them all into the woods, okay?
00:59:35 Okay.
00:59:37 Start. I want you to...
00:59:39 [growling]
00:59:41 I want you to go with him, okay? Go with him.
00:59:43 Understand? Go.
00:59:45 Take care of her.
00:59:48 Okay. Okay.
00:59:50 [growling]
00:59:52 [growling]
00:59:54 Hey, puss heads!
00:59:59 [growling]
01:00:02 Get to the woods, man! Do it now!
01:00:07 [growling]
01:00:10 Shit.
01:00:14 [growling]
01:00:22 [growling]
01:00:24 Fuck you!
01:00:26 You don't have the balls to fight me yourself, do you, asshole?
01:00:30 [growling]
01:00:32 [gunshot]
01:00:36 [gunshots]
01:00:40 [gunshot]
01:00:44 [gunshots]
01:00:49 Kill him! Kill them all!
01:00:51 [gunshots]
01:00:55 [growling]
01:00:57 Come on! Get out! Go, go, go!
01:00:59 To the woods! Get to the woods!
01:01:01 [growling]
01:01:03 Goodbye.
01:01:05 Oh, shit!
01:01:07 [growling]
01:01:11 [gunshot]
01:01:17 Thanks, man.
01:01:19 [growling]
01:01:22 [gunshot]
01:01:26 [growling]
01:01:28 [gunshot]
01:01:30 [gunshot]
01:01:35 Good to see you, man. Good to see you.
01:01:38 Come on. Let's get out of here.
01:01:40 No way. There's still people here.
01:01:43 [gunshot]
01:01:44 We gotta get 'em out. Let's go.
01:01:47 Follow me.
01:01:49 [gunshots]
01:01:52 [growling]
01:01:55 Whoa!
01:01:58 Show off.
01:02:00 Who, me?
01:02:02 [footsteps]
01:02:30 [footsteps]
01:02:32 [footsteps]
01:03:00 [screaming]
01:03:02 [screaming]
01:03:08 [screaming]
01:03:28 David!
01:03:30 This is David. Come on.
01:03:33 Jesus.
01:03:56 [gun cocks]
01:03:58 Whoa!
01:04:02 Whoa, man. Don't shoot me.
01:04:04 Christ, man. You damn near gave me a heart attack.
01:04:07 Didn't mean to.
01:04:09 Come on. Let's get the hell out of here.
01:04:11 Have you seen Star?
01:04:12 Star?
01:04:13 My girl, man. My girl.
01:04:15 Yeah. Yeah, she was heading to the woods a little bit ago.
01:04:18 I gotta find her.
01:04:19 Let's go.
01:04:25 [gunshot]
01:04:27 [growling]
01:04:30 [gunshots]
01:04:32 What's the matter, puss head? You don't like that?
01:04:38 Get away from me, you maggot factory.
01:04:40 What's the matter? Cat got your tongue, huh?
01:04:45 Oh, I forgot.
01:04:47 Probably ate the damn thing, didn't you?
01:04:49 You hungry, boy? Huh? You hungry? Huh?
01:04:52 You wanna take a bite of me?
01:04:54 Cap, over there.
01:04:56 What the hell are you guys doing?
01:05:00 Ah, nothing, boss. Just having a little fun.
01:05:03 We just kill the damn thing and get it over with. We got work to do.
01:05:06 You heard the boss. Sorry, bud.
01:05:09 [growling]
01:05:11 [gunshot]
01:05:14 Let's get out of here.
01:05:16 [gunshots]
01:05:18 Look who I found.
01:05:28 David. Damn, it's good to see you alive.
01:05:30 It's good to be alive.
01:05:32 Come here.
01:05:34 Okay. Okay, big guy. That's enough.
01:05:37 Has anybody seen Star?
01:05:39 Good-looking girl, long hair.
01:05:42 I gotta find her.
01:05:44 Star!
01:05:46 Star!
01:05:48 She was over there in the woods just a few minutes ago.
01:05:51 Where?
01:05:53 Right over there.
01:05:55 I saved her from one of those pus bags.
01:05:57 And then we got attacked by another one, and she ran off while I was fighting it.
01:06:01 Damn.
01:06:03 Which way did she go?
01:06:05 I don't know, man. She just ran off.
01:06:07 I gotta find her, you guys.
01:06:09 General, this is Sliver.
01:06:11 He has some things he wants to tell you about this place that you need to know.
01:06:14 He's a good man. You can trust him.
01:06:16 Let me send somebody with you.
01:06:18 Geronimo. I'm on it, boss.
01:06:20 No. No, that's okay. This won't take long, really.
01:06:23 He's going with you, David. No excuses. No arguments.
01:06:27 Okay. Okay.
01:06:30 Okay, guys. Start tearing this place down.
01:06:38 I don't want to see anything left standing.
01:06:40 Nothing.
01:06:42 Let's take a walk, you and me.
01:06:46 You taught me how to paint when I was ten years old.
01:06:54 Remember, Dad?
01:06:56 By the time I was eleven, I painted the entire exterior of the house.
01:07:03 Twice.
01:07:05 Therapy, you called it.
01:07:08 Why, Dad? What for? I was ten.
01:07:11 You say it was more like abuse.
01:07:15 No, Mother. I'm not being too tough on him.
01:07:18 If he had listened to me in the first place, everything would be fine.
01:07:21 I mean, look. Look around you. This system works perfectly.
01:07:24 I mean, helping them out is maybe a little odd, but you know what?
01:07:29 Those humans, they have to raise them like animals.
01:07:31 They don't know what they're missing.
01:07:33 They're just like cows back in the day.
01:07:35 They got a roof over their heads. They eat. They have sex all the time.
01:07:38 But me? I can't even piss in the woods without worrying about some pusshead
01:07:42 jumping all over my ass.
01:07:44 Now look.
01:07:48 Damn it.
01:07:51 All right, that's it. I'm done.
01:07:55 I can't do this anymore.
01:07:57 I needed to bring you here.
01:07:59 I needed to find out if there was anything left inside. Something.
01:08:02 But you know what? There's nothing. Absolutely nothing. Nada.
01:08:07 And so, Mother dear,
01:08:12 Father,
01:08:16 Ladies first.
01:08:24 You should have listened to me, Dad.
01:08:31 So, what's the girl look like?
01:08:34 Probably the best looking girl you'll ever see.
01:08:37 Really? To me?
01:08:39 Okay. I'll take your word for it.
01:08:42 Star!
01:08:45 Star!
01:08:48 Damn it.
01:08:51 [Bag crinkling]
01:08:53 [Thunder]
01:09:00 [Thunder]
01:09:04 You were right, Cap. There's a town just a few miles down this road.
01:09:16 This farm was started and supplied by them.
01:09:19 Are you sure?
01:09:21 He's from there.
01:09:23 It's true, man.
01:09:25 Okay.
01:09:27 So what do we do about it?
01:09:29 I say we pay them a visit.
01:09:31 I say sounds like a plan.
01:09:33 [Music]
01:09:47 What's up for you, darling?
01:09:49 Well, I was hoping to get through here. Think that's possible?
01:09:52 Where'd you come from, sweetheart? There's nothing but zombies out there.
01:09:56 Oh, there's lots of people out there. Lots of them. Like me.
01:10:01 Like you.
01:10:04 Well, not exactly like me.
01:10:07 Know what I mean?
01:10:10 I know exactly what you mean.
01:10:12 So what do you say, boys? You gonna let me pass?
01:10:16 Oh, come on. I really need to get through here.
01:10:20 It's a matter of life or death.
01:10:22 Whose life or death?
01:10:24 Very possibly yours.
01:10:27 [Whistle]
01:10:29 [Whistle]
01:10:32 Sorry, boys, but we're going through.
01:10:43 If you want to live, you'll let us walk through when we come back.
01:10:47 Got it, darling?
01:10:49 Store!
01:11:05 Store!
01:11:11 Hey, man, we've been at this for a couple hours. Don't you think we ought to go back?
01:11:15 Okay, okay. I was just thinking out loud.
01:11:19 Store?
01:11:23 Store! Store!
01:11:31 Store, is that you?
01:11:34 [Zombie growling]
01:11:37 [Zombie growling]
01:11:39 Where's my gun?
01:11:52 [Gunshot]
01:11:59 [Zombie growling]
01:12:03 [Zombie growling]
01:12:06 [Gunshot]
01:12:10 I got careless.
01:12:16 Right.
01:12:18 Just get it over with.
01:12:21 Look, man, I...
01:12:23 Just do it! I don't want to be one of them.
01:12:31 [Gunshot]
01:12:33 Thank you all for coming.
01:12:39 As usual, we'll start our meeting off with a short prayer.
01:12:42 We'll all bow our heads.
01:12:45 Dear God, we thank you for the gifts you give us each day.
01:12:50 We thank you for protecting us from evil.
01:12:55 And we ask for your strength and courage in our fight against the undead.
01:13:01 You don't fight them. You feed them.
01:13:05 Who the hell are you?
01:13:13 A person who's going to put a bullet in your head if you don't shut up and sit down.
01:13:18 Sliver, what is this?
01:13:22 You heard the lady. I thought I told you I'd listen to her.
01:13:27 I'm not going to tell you again.
01:13:30 And wipe that shitty look off your face or I'll shoot you just for fun.
01:13:41 Okay.
01:13:47 We don't like being here any more than you guys want us to be here, so...
01:13:50 I'm going to make this short and sweet.
01:13:53 That farm that you guys set up? It's done.
01:13:56 Gone. Burned up.
01:14:00 If you even try to set up another one, I will break my own commandment and come back to this town...
01:14:05 and kill every single living person here.
01:14:08 No exceptions.
01:14:10 The farm was the only way we could keep them out of the town.
01:14:15 You don't need to show them how to breed humans to survive.
01:14:18 We're proof of that.
01:14:20 We only did what we had to do.
01:14:23 Sliver.
01:14:31 He had a gun.
01:14:38 Anyone else want to get cute? Huh?
01:14:46 I don't care what you do now.
01:14:48 If you want to join us and fight the puss heads, you're more than welcome to.
01:14:52 If not, you're welcome to that too.
01:14:55 But no more farms. Period.
01:14:58 Or the next time you see me, it'll be the last five seconds of your life.
01:15:04 Come on, let's go.
01:15:06 Being around these people make me sick.
01:15:10 Yeah.
01:15:14 Me too.
01:15:16 Hey, we got a live one.
01:15:37 400 yards, one o'clock.
01:15:41 Let's light 'em up.
01:16:06 We always honored our dead with the greatest of respect and gratitude for their bravery and sacrifice.
01:16:12 But this time it was different.
01:16:15 Especially for me.
01:16:18 We found David's body before the goons got to it and took it back to our camp to give him a real funeral.
01:16:27 The kind of funeral a soldier deserves.
01:16:30 We didn't put bodies in the ground anymore.
01:16:33 The only way to give someone a funeral was to burn them.
01:16:37 If we buried them, the zombies would pick up on the scent of fresh meat and dig them up for food.
01:16:43 But we were going to make sure that wasn't going to happen to David.
01:16:46 He was a soldier.
01:16:48 Someone who fought for his people without complaint or question.
01:16:51 And he won't be forgotten.
01:16:54 I will make damn sure that his son knows all there is to know about him.
01:16:58 Who knows, maybe someday little David will be the one who leads us all to victory.
