00:56 The 31-year-old dancer said, "I don't think because I dance is why they don't want to

01:02 Our main iconic heroines in Bollywood have been dancers who perform beautifully and they
01:06 excel in dance numbers, right?
01:08 That was just part of being an iconic heroine.
01:11 I don't think it was because of that."
01:13 She further said, "I think it was always, 'Oh, I don't know.'
01:17 It's almost like, 'Let's see who will take the chance on me.'
01:20 And if she delivers in all the categories, meaning the acting skills, the presence, the
01:24 aura and the ability to express the language skills, then we all jump on the opportunity.
01:29 So I think it was who would have had the *** to do it first, to take the chance on me first.
01:35 I think that was what everyone was waiting for."
01:39 According to Nora, today the industry has become very competitive.
01:43 There are only a few films a year.
01:45 And sometimes what happens with filmmakers is they don't think outside of what's in front
01:50 of them.
01:51 So if only four girls are doing films and they are going in rotation and all four are
01:56 getting projects non-stop, the filmmakers will only remember those four.
02:00 They won't think beyond that.
02:03 She further said, "So your job is to try to intercept the four and become five and get
02:09 into rotation and then that's just how the balls roll.
02:12 And yeah, I mean, it's hard work, but it's happening.
02:15 And I'm very grateful for that.
02:17 I just have to prove myself so I can stick around.
02:20 That's the next challenge."
