  • last year
The return of the Championship, League One, and League Two is upon us. Who is going into the new season as favourites to do well?
Transcript
00:00 The championship this year is full of big clubs, including of course the three that came down from the Premier League last season.
00:08 Leeds, Leicester and Southampton are all tipped to go straight back up to the Premier League, whether that be automatically or via the playoffs.
00:16 Other sides such as Middlesbrough, Norwich, Watford and Sunderland could also have good seasons.
00:22 In League One, three clubs that have previously been in the Premier League in recent years, Derby, Bolton and Portsmouth, are perhaps the big three in terms of promotion back to the championship.
00:33 Outside bets include Blackpool, Charlton and Peterborough.
00:38 Finally, in League Two, because of their Hollywood backing, Wrexham are favourites to go up to League One.
00:45 They're joined by Notts County, who also came up with Wrexham from the National League, and Stockport, who have a good squad going into the new season.
00:53 It promises to be a season full of ups and downs, and come May, we'll know all the answers.
