00:00 The appeal and negotiation of the love fund will continue with the company that is investing in the land of a subdivision in Dasmarinas, Cavite
00:11 to help the homeowners there who are afraid of demolishing their houses.
00:16 Noel Talacay reported.
00:18 Love, why did you leave us?
00:23 This is the big question that was written in the letter that was placed in front of Viva Home States of Division in Dasmarinas, Cavite.
00:32 Remember, last week we heard the complaint of the residents regarding the demolition of their houses.
00:41 Even though most of them are already fully paid through love.
00:47 There was a problem through Paxton Development Corporation, the company that is now investing in their land and the developers of the subdivision.
00:58 According to the leadership of the love fund, it was only in 2007 when they learned of the situation.
01:05 They immediately talked to Paxton along with the developer of Vical Realty Corporation.
01:12 We had a meeting. That meeting is called tripartite memorandum of agreement that was approved by the court.
01:21 The solution to that meeting is that the love fund will let Paxton borrow P20 million to transfer the titles to the love fund borrowers.
01:35 But in 2015, Paxton cancelled the agreement and removed the three developers, Vical, Hightone Marketing Corporation and Top Rate Construction and General Services Corporation.
01:50 Because of this, the motion was filed to intervene the love that lasted for several years until the Supreme Court.
01:58 After several years, 2021, the Supreme Court has arrived.
02:05 The Supreme Court said to us, the love fund, that you have no legal standing.
02:10 That means you are not allowed to join the case.
02:14 The love fund has not stopped since November 2020.
02:18 Until now, they are still in contact with the homeowners of the subdivision.
02:23 They will continue to send demand letters to Paxton.
02:28 In fact, according to the love fund, their last letter was in January.
02:32 We told Paxton, even if the Supreme Court said that we are not allowed to quote-unquote, "Loyal Alarm" that the love fund has no legal standing,
02:43 we still have the 20 million pesos and you need to transfer it to the love fund borrowers according to our 5R title.
02:56 Paxton answered. He said that we don't have a copy of the contracts and the agreement.
03:02 They did not answer us.
03:04 What we did was we sent all the signed agreements, but after that, we did not hear anything from Paxton.
03:15 They also did not see anything wrong with the documents held by Vical.
03:20 In 1997, Vical showed his title, the landowner.
03:27 We inspected the title and it is clean.
03:31 It means that there is no sign of fraud.
03:34 The love fund trusted us and the bank was right. That's why we are lending.
03:39 Until now, the court has given a month's notice to the residents of Viva Home State Subdivision.
03:47 That's why some residents of the prayer rally of vigil.
04:01 The white flag is for the cleanliness and unity of the residents of Viva for the solution of the problem.
04:11 The candle symbolizes light and hope.
04:17 Prayer is important. May God be aware of our discussion.
04:22 We are victims of injustice.
04:24 We are asking for help from our beloved President Bongbong Marcos.
04:29 Help us here. We believe in the government.
04:34 Until now, Paxton Development Corporation has not given a statement regarding this matter.
04:41 Noel Talacay for the nation.
