Shane Steichen likes what he sees from Anthony Richardson at training camp.

00:00 Yeah, I thought he had a heck of a day today.
00:02 He was really solid, made some big time throws,
00:05 obviously the two minute drive, threw a nice touchdown right
00:08 there in the end zone, and then the two point play
00:10 that he ran in, it was pretty good to see.
00:12 Preseason football is about to get started.
00:14 Any decisions have been made about how much we're
00:16 going to see each quarterback?
00:17 Yeah, no, we're still working through that.
00:18 We'll get that decision made probably midweek or later
00:21 in the week.
00:21 Yeah, I mean, I think when you get repetitions
00:23 and you do things more and more, and you're
00:25 going to get more comfortable.
00:26 And I think he's gaining confidence in the system
00:29 and gaining confidence with his teammates.
00:30 And when you have that, and you have the talent that he has,
00:33 it's usually a good thing.
00:34 That's a good question.
00:36 You know what?
00:36 I think just being part of the NFL,
00:39 it's a big step for a college player.
00:41 But he's been really good in the meeting rooms.
00:44 I think sometimes it's a fast game with the NFL.
00:48 And we've just got to keep him calm in there sometimes.
00:51 And he does a hell of a job with it.
00:52 Just the operation of it, you know what I mean?
00:54 Two minute, I think in college it's
00:55 funny because in college the clock always
00:57 stops when you get a first down.
00:58 And so you're on the ball.
01:00 There's so many different situations that come out.
01:02 We've been talking about them through the meeting rooms.
01:03 And they show up.
01:04 We had one last week that we showed in the meeting room,
01:06 a game-like situation.
01:07 And it actually came up on the practice field.
01:09 And another situation that came up today,
01:11 I mean, he was operating at a high level today.
