00:28 It was an open mic night at a pretty much a dive bar.
00:32 And yeah, I don't know, we met that night and stayed in touch.
00:37 The sparks flew everywhere.
00:39 We left the island separately and I moved back to the UK and Justin stayed in the States.
00:45 And we stayed in touch, I guess.

00:56 So 2017, we started shopping for buses and essentially bought the first one that we saw.

01:11 We, you know, can clean the house in like five minutes, which is nice.
01:15 That's awesome.
01:16 Well, we clean and Azalea actively uncleans what we clean while we clean.
01:20 Yeah, it's nice too. I mean, like small space, you get less to worry about, less things to put away or care for.
01:25 I really enjoy the decreased bills.
01:28 We've been able to cut our bills like almost in half.
01:31 So when we transitioned to living in this tiny space and living in this lifestyle, there's a variety of different hurdles that we face.
01:41 I think one of them was getting used to such a small space, being so close together.
01:47 Working around each other.
01:49 Getting on each other's nerves a little bit, maybe.
01:52 But over time, we were able to, I don't know, figure out a good flow and figure out how to give each other space when we needed space.
01:59 But I feel like it's also like really helped us get in tune to our feelings and even improve our communication.

02:12 So some of the things that we installed here mainly is the solar system.
02:16 So we've got about 500 watts of solar on top that we can use to power just about everything on the bus except for the AC unit.
02:23 And not to mention that we've got a 100-gallon water tank that we installed on the bus as well.
02:29 It causes us to be really conscious about the water that we use and the amount that we use too.
02:35 We've been growing a lot of food and eating a lot of food from the land.
02:38 [Music]
02:52 And the simplicity of all of our team I think has been inspiring.
02:56 And it's helped us, I don't know, find more time to be together as a family, which has been really amazing.
03:02 Yeah, now that we're on the other end of it, I think they're definitely like happiness meter.
03:07 It's gone through the roof.
03:08 You know, and like you said, we've gotten the biggest thing I think of value is that we get to be here for her growing up, and that's huge.
