00:30 that she had been hospitalized for "several days in the ICU" due to a bacterial infection
00:35 and was expected to make a full recovery.
00:38 One day after the announcement, on June 29, NBC News learned that the music superstar
00:42 was "out of the ICU and recovering" and feeling better after returning home.
00:49 Earlier this week, Madge thanked her kids for all their help amid her recent health
00:52 scare, writing on Instagram in part,
00:54 "Love from family and friends is the best medicine.
00:57 One month out of the hospital and I can reflect.

01:22 Madonna was initially set to kick off her tour in Vancouver on July 15.
