00:00 CM K Chandrashekhar Rao's daughter and the B.R.S. Nethri's daughter K Kavita
00:07 have wished the International Adivasi Day on the occasion of the occasion of Adivasi Day.
00:12 I wish all the Adivasi sisters and brothers and sisters
00:15 a very happy International Adivasi Day on 9th August.
00:22 And India is a very beautiful country, and our Adivasi sisters and brothers are the most beautiful flowers of this country.
00:31 During this time, they talked about the interests of the Adivasi people and their rights.
00:36 We should all try our best to protect the culture and language of the Adivasi people.
00:47 When India gained independence, more than 250 countries united in India.
00:55 So we all come under the constitution.
00:58 And in the constitution, in the fifth and sixth schedule,
01:01 we have made arrangements to protect the interests of the Adivasi people.
01:09 But unfortunately, when it comes to implementation of the Amlawari,
01:15 the consecutive governments have been unsuccessful.
01:19 In a way, our land has been snatched from us,
01:23 the rights of the Adivasi people are gradually decreasing over the jungle.
01:28 The jungle is decreasing itself. This is the situation in India today.
01:32 K Kavita also told about the work of the government of Chandra Shekhar Rao.
01:37 She told in her message how the Telangana government has worked for the Adivasi people.
01:43 We have done two things in the Telangana state.
01:46 Since the last nine years, this state has been separate.
01:50 We have put in a lot of human effort here.
01:53 We planted a tree of about 230 crores.
01:56 And the jungle that was getting thin, we made it very thick.
02:00 So ultimately, our jungle is more than 6.9% bigger here.
02:05 Along with that, we have also protected the rights of the Adivasi people and tribals in the Girijan Cooperative Society.
02:13 And we have brought a lot of improvement in it.
02:16 Because of which, there can be financial empowerment of the Adivasi people and tribals.
02:22 We have done such a work.
02:24 So there is such a government here as a BRS.
02:27 KCR is such a leader who believes that the money that the Adivasi people get in the tribal sub-plan,
02:34 it should be spent on the Adivasi people.
02:37 So that's why we have made another law separately in the assembly.
02:44 With which we clearly say that the ST Special Development Fund and SC Special Development Fund,
02:51 we have given protection to both of these.
02:53 The allocation funds that are given to the tribal sub-plan should be spent on the tribals.
02:59 If the government does not spend that money in a year, then the money is rolled over the next year.
03:05 Earlier, this money used to expire or be used for something else.
03:09 But we have changed it.
03:11 And this is done only in Telangana and KCR in the whole of India.
03:19 In his message, K Kavita also advises the other state governments of the country to work for the benefit of the Adivasi people.
03:27 I want this work to be done all over the country.
03:30 Because we have got the blessings of great heroes like Tantya Bheel, Birsa Munda, Komram Bheem, Ramji Gond.
03:40 We have got inspiration from them.
03:42 So in this country, we have always fought for land, forest, water, for our rights, to preserve our culture.
03:53 But this fight should not be only of the tribals.
03:55 Every major party, every leader should be involved in this.
04:00 Because when we can save diversity, we can save diversity, only then can India become a good flowerbed.
04:08 Meanwhile, BRS leader K Kavita called a sharp attack on BJP and the central government.
04:14 She has also opposed the UCC, that is, the Uniform Civil Code.
04:19 And this is a special day on August 9, International Adivasi Day, which is celebrated by the United Nations.
04:26 The BJP says that we should not celebrate it.
04:29 But when the United Nations celebrates Yoga Day, all the leaders of the BJP come on the road and do yoga.
04:35 I don't understand this difference.
04:37 And one unfortunate thing is happening that they are trying to bring a new law of UCC.
04:44 In this, the rights of SCs and tribals will be completely snatched.
04:49 That is why the BRS party has strongly opposed the UCC.
04:53 And we will continue to oppose it.
04:56 In addition to this, the BJP government is trying to eliminate the powers of the Gram Sabha.
05:04 Because they do not discuss in the parliament, in the Sadan, but they pass the bill quietly with the majority they have.
05:11 But all the rights that we are losing under the BJP, we should fight for them.
05:16 We should fight together and restore their rights.
