00:00 And what's your view now of the team under Eric Ten Hag?
00:03 It feels like this is, I suppose,
00:06 the most structured things I've felt maybe,
00:09 perhaps in the last decade.
00:11 And Eric Ten Hag, they've got a fantastic manager.
00:13 I think everybody realises that, listen,
00:17 you can't keep chopping and changing the manager every two years or whatever it is.
00:23 I think Oli was the one that sat there the longest,
00:27 I think three years or something.
00:29 But you look at David Moyes, you look at Van Gaal,
00:33 you look at Mourinho, no more than two years or less.
00:37 And obviously Oli came in and then Rangnick took over a little bit at the end.
00:41 But again, inconsistency throughout.
00:43 Now with Eric, he's somebody that has established himself predominantly with Ajax in Holland,
00:50 which is a big club, a massive club in Holland,
00:52 did very well in Europe in the Champions League.
00:54 He's got a very distinctive style of player football, how he wants to play.
00:58 I think we've seen plenty of snippets of that.
01:01 I think there's still a little bit of,
01:03 and I still am sure that that is something he will reflect on
01:08 and we'll show that that is not going to happen this year.
01:12 I'm not saying that it's not going to happen at all,
01:14 but hopefully not as many times as it did last season,
01:17 the times that they didn't really perform to the level,
01:20 you know, when they did lose,
01:22 they lost in a manner where they never really showed up.
01:24 So that is a part that needs to be addressed.
01:27 I think overall, Eric can look back to a good season for himself.
01:31 He can be really pleased with that because you win a trophy,
01:34 you're in another final,
01:36 which you lost obviously to City,
01:40 and you finished third and you're back in the Champions League.
01:43 But that's OK and that's great for Eric.
01:47 But for United, it is no more than an OK season,
01:51 because United, and everybody knows that, and Eric knows that,
01:55 they want to be challenging and snapping at the heels of Manchester City
02:00 and going for the title again.
02:02 So I think he's made some really good signings.
02:05 I know Anana, obviously from Ajax, and he knows him.
02:08 So he's got a few players now that he's worked with at Ajax,
02:11 and he tries to build that strong,
02:14 you know, that's called backbone through the team, you know.
02:17 Mount is, I think, also bought with the eye to the future,
02:22 with obviously Eriksen a bit older and Casimiro a bit older,
02:25 but still somebody that can contribute and knows
02:29 and understand what the Premier League is about.
02:31 And then obviously Hoylund is a really exciting signing.
02:34 And, you know, hopefully he can hit the ground running.
02:38 He's not the finished article, but he's one of those players that United is
02:41 renowned for. They bring that sort of talent
02:43 into United and potential, and, you know,
02:48 they make him into absolutely world-class players.
02:50 So he's definitely got the features to do that.
02:52 So yeah, I think he's on the right track and I hope he really can carry on.
