00:00 I've had my tongue pierced, I've had my belly button pierced.
00:04 I wanted to get my nipples pierced, but I just could not.
00:06 Whenever I saw someone doing it,
00:08 I had friends who did that, and I was just like, "Eww."
00:10 Hello, hello, I am Sai Da Silva,
00:13 and this is my Woman's Health Body Scan.
00:15 What I love most about my body, like my boobs,
00:17 I have a great set of boobs.
00:19 My husband loves my boobs.
00:20 Like, they went to (beep) after I was breastfeeding,
00:23 but I feel like they're pretty solid again.
00:25 You know what I really was kind of insecure
00:27 about growing up was my toes.
00:31 I have the longest toes you've ever seen.
00:34 All the kids would make fun of me.
00:36 Like, they would tell me I was scaling walls with my toes.
00:39 Like, they would say all these things.
00:40 So I have to tell you, I used to put makeup on my toes.
00:43 I would do all kinds of things with my toes.
00:46 Now I just don't care.
00:47 I'm wearing sandals, and I don't care.
00:49 I love working out.
00:50 I'm like the workout girl.
00:51 I love to work out this peach.
00:53 I need to have a nice, you know,
00:55 I need to have a round, firm butt,
00:57 and I love to work out my arms.
00:58 I just feel like this is a gun show.
01:01 You know, you never know who you might see,
01:03 who you're gonna have to wave at,
01:05 who's gonna be like, oh my God, can you pass me the salt?
01:08 Like, who's looking at your arms?
01:10 I think the arms are very important.
01:12 Like, you know, doing these bicep curls, all very important.
01:16 So the peach and the arms are definitely
01:19 my favorite to work out.
01:21 My least favorite exercise is just cardio in general.
01:23 Like, I think cardio feels like I'm just dying,
01:25 and it's not enjoyable whatsoever.
01:27 Like, no one just wants to sit here and die.
01:30 It's just not for me.
01:31 So cardio, I have to say,
01:32 is probably my least favorite thing to do.
01:34 A go-to healthy meal for me is definitely a quinoa bowl.
01:38 I go to the farmer's market every Sunday.
01:40 I typically cook all day on Sundays.
01:42 I am crazy about ingredients.
01:45 So typically I will just do some quinoa,
01:47 tons of roasted veggies,
01:48 whatever is in season from the farmer's market.
01:51 I'll throw them in the oven,
01:52 and I'll add that to a quinoa bowl,
01:54 throw some beans, saute some tofu,
01:57 and then the dressing is just a lemon,
01:59 olive oil, and salt and onion powder.
02:02 You gotta season.
02:02 You need seasoning, okay?
02:04 I have to say my comfort meal is a glass of wine.
02:07 (laughs)
02:09 Maybe two, okay?
02:11 I would rather drink my calories than eat them.
02:14 I don't really have a particular comfort food.
02:16 I would have to say maybe pasta.
02:18 I do love, love, love pasta.
02:20 I enjoy pasta.
02:21 I ran track for 10 years,
02:22 so my knees are not the greatest.
02:26 They used to fill up with water when I used to run,
02:28 and I would have to get them drained out,
02:30 and then I had stress fractures in my hip
02:33 that were really, really bad as well.
02:34 So I think that's as serious as it has gotten,
02:38 but hopefully, knock on wood,
02:40 nothing's coming in the future.
02:41 I do have a scar.
02:43 I got a surgery that I ended up having on my hip,
02:46 so I do have a scar, but it doesn't bother me.
02:49 It's just part of me, like a tattoo.
02:51 I have six tattoos.
02:53 Well, I had six tattoos, okay?
02:55 I was going through a phase.
02:56 But I now have three, so I got three removed.
03:01 One I'm still working on.
03:02 Two are completely removed, but yeah, three left.
03:07 It's my piercings.
03:07 I've had my tongue pierced.
03:09 I've had my belly button pierced.
03:12 I wanted to get my nipples pierced, but I just could not.
03:14 Whenever I saw someone doing it,
03:16 I had friends who did that, and I was just like, "Ew!"
03:19 But I think body piercings,
03:20 that's as far as I went.
03:22 And then I had that weird hole in my belly button
03:24 for the longest to remind me.
03:26 Hey, by the way, when you were 16,
03:27 you decided to pierce your belly button
03:29 'cause you thought it was cool.
03:30 Let's talk about skincare.
03:32 I am a skincare fanatic.
03:34 I've come a long way, because in my 20s,
03:36 I would just use a Neutrogena makeup wipe and go to sleep,
03:38 and then I realized it's just stripping my skin,
03:41 and it's not doing anything for me.
03:43 So now I'm really into this long skincare step,
03:47 routine, every single night.
03:48 I don't know if it's more to get away from my kids
03:50 or more just for me, but I definitely will do a toner.
03:53 I love SK-II.
03:55 An essence, I love Cle de Peau, has a really good essence.
03:58 Let's see, what else?
03:59 Dior, Dior Capture Total is a really good line.
04:02 They make a really hydrating, moisturizing moisturizer,
04:06 as well as an under-eye cream.
04:08 Also, they're Dior Prestige
04:09 if you're a little bit older like I am,
04:11 which you couldn't tell, right?
04:12 I like things that are a little bit thicker
04:14 because my skin, it tends to be a little bit
04:17 on the drier side, especially in the winter months.
04:20 I kind of have alligator skin.
04:22 I'm not afraid to say it.
04:23 So I do like things that very much so hydrate my skin.
04:26 I could talk about this all day.
04:28 I am the go-to skin girl.
04:30 I mean, hair is a big thing for me
04:32 just because growing up I had very, very curly hair,
04:36 like huge afro curly hair.
04:38 I know you can't tell right now.
04:39 It's kind of been blow-dried and flat-ironed.
04:41 I also just did a good chop.
04:43 But due to over-styling, getting older with hormones
04:47 and everything else, my hair just all of a sudden just poof.
04:50 It is a completely different texture.
04:52 I had no idea this would happen.
04:54 So my hair care has completely changed.
04:56 You know, I used to have three C curls
04:59 that were very tight ringlets
05:00 and that they would just kind of poof out just a bit.
05:02 So I would tend to reach for any leave-in conditioners.
05:06 Ceremonia makes a very clean leave-in conditioner.
05:10 I literally love Orbe shampoo and conditioner.
05:13 Big, big fan of that.
05:15 And then you know what I'm still using
05:17 after all these years, like growing up in Brooklyn
05:19 and I cannot let it go?
05:21 I love Eco Styling Gel.
05:22 Is it clean?
05:24 No.
05:24 Will the alcohol probably strip your hair out?
05:27 Yeah, but you know what?
05:28 It holds, it holds.
05:29 If you want a good slick back, Eco Styling Gel, 2.99,
05:33 big jug, you can't go wrong.
05:35 Mental health is a really big thing for me.
05:37 Self care I'm really into,
05:39 especially because I have a very busy schedule.
05:41 On top of that, I'm a very present mom and wife.
05:44 So I have a lot going on.
05:46 So for me, I prioritize my time.
05:49 I get up at five o'clock in the morning.
05:51 It's, trust me, I was not always like this.
05:53 I used to be a club rat, okay?
05:55 But now I get up at five o'clock in the morning
05:57 and what I typically do is cherish the moments
06:00 that I have alone.
06:01 Just, I wanna be present.
06:02 I will not check my phone for at least an hour
06:05 when I wake up.
06:05 I usually will journal for about 15 to 20 minutes
06:08 while listening to affirmations
06:10 and then I'll plug that off, grab a cup of tea,
06:13 and then I'll just meditate for a good 15, 20 minutes
06:16 if I can get that in.
06:17 So I sit and I visualize exactly what I want out of my day
06:21 and what I expect.
06:22 I'm huge into manifestation, laws of attraction,
06:25 and I just really believe in positivity
06:27 and what you put out there, you get back.
06:30 And it keeps me grounded and at the end of the day,
06:32 it actually really does keep me sane.
06:34 Thank you so much for watching.
