00:13 Residents in Edinburgh whose gardens are being flooded with sewage during heavy rainstorms
00:18 have issued a desperate plea for help as more rain is said to be on the way.
00:24 Residents living in five properties in Easter Drylaw Drive have suffered the floods for
00:28 years now, which have seen their gardens filled with dirty water, faeces and needles.
00:37 Developers behind plans for 120 new homes by the Water of Leith have pledged to help
00:41 pay for a pedestrian bridge in the area. It comes after pleas from the community in Longstone
00:47 for an active travel link to be built over the river as part of the new project.
00:55 And finally, a convicted rapist who attacked 13-year-old girl in Dalkeith Country Park
00:59 is on the run from police after failing to appear in court.
01:03 Sean Hogg, 22, was due to appear in court accused of driving offences but he didn't
01:09 turn up and a warrant for his arrest has now been issued.
