00:00 Through the support and resources provided by McDonald's,
00:04 I was able to grow my business, getting several restaurants
00:08 and growing within the McDonald's system,
00:10 to now being one of the first black woman
00:15 to serve as chair of McDonald's Operators Advertising Fund.

00:21 Yes, give it up for her, yes!
00:24 To me, operating McDonald's Restaurant
00:27 is about more than creating generational wealth
00:31 in my own family.
00:32 It's about providing the same chance for others
00:36 to succeed and build a positive impact
00:39 throughout the black community and beyond.
00:42 Whether that's helping one of my hard working crew members,
00:46 and they definitely work hard,
00:48 get the resources that they need to attend college,
00:52 or mentoring a young black woman,
00:54 if it's to help her grow in her personal
00:59 and professional journey, that means success to me.
