00:00 Edgebaston Stadium is one of the leading venues in world cricket and has been home to Warwickshire
00:06 County Cricket Club since 1885. For more than 100 years, first class and international cricket
00:13 has been played in Birmingham. During that time, the stadium has hosted all the great
00:18 players of the game and delivered some of the most iconic moments in the history of
00:22 the sport. The support that we get at Edgebaston is unbelievable. I think obviously the hollies
00:26 stand there is probably one of the most vocal I've ever played in front of. I think there's
00:30 a really strong, I guess, Birmingham presence, not just from the local players, but as well
00:33 the support staff too. So having that makes you feel really welcome into this environment
00:37 and you know, I love Birmingham and being able to be a part of this and represent the
00:41 people of this region is something that's really special. Well, certainly an iconic
00:46 monument in the sporting world, situated here in the second city. If you're a local, you'll
00:51 certainly be proud of this magnificent stadium, which will continue to host some of cricket's
00:56 best moments in years to come.
