00:00 You haven't got the chance to bat at number 3 often in T20 AIs.
00:04 So, considering that, why do you feel more liberated in terms of starting pacing your innings and able to tee off?
00:13 Which of the holes suits you better?
00:15 See, if you are playing in T20 format, obviously if you bat in top 3,
00:19 that's the only place where you can pace the innings pretty well.
00:21 Otherwise, if you bat down the order after that, you know, you need to give...
00:27 You can't give yourself time. You need to start going from ball 1.
00:30 And, you know, considering the plans and preparations we are coming through right now at this point of time,
00:38 you know, it's like we are staying always positive and we want to really enjoy the scenario which we are provided on the field.
00:47 So, yeah, if I had to say the best number to bat for me personally, it's obviously 3.
00:53 I just wanted to ask you, now that the competition for the sports in the middle order has heated up quite a bit,
00:59 how would you rate your performance in this series?
01:03 And what is the team expecting from you going forward?
01:06 Obviously, I mean, coming not out in all the 3 games, it was a commendable performance for myself, I feel.
01:14 And, see, expectation-wise, I am not keeping any expectations from myself nor from the team coaches
01:22 because if you see the competition in our team, it's immense and every individual is capable of winning you games.
01:29 So, for me personally, I want to enjoy each and every moment and opportunity which I have been provided with.
01:34 And I like to, you know, finish off the games and that's like my mindset whenever I go on to the pitch.
01:41 Do you think you have saved your place in the playing 11 for the T20 World Cup with this form?
01:47 See, I think it's way long to think about right now.
01:51 I can't talk about cementing my place because as I mentioned earlier as well, the competition is so much
01:59 and you need to be flexible in terms of batting in any position or any given situation.
02:05 So, my mindset is just to grab as many opportunities as I can and see to it that I maximize the use of it.
