00:00 whatever, to be able to trust their moves.
00:04 And y'all had to build that last year, now you have to build that again.
00:07 How does that work?
00:08 >> So I mean, we click spring, fall,
00:12 and it's a key part of our team success.
00:18 Those guys are amazing to work with.
00:21 We all click, we are brotherhood.
00:24 We don't really argue that much, but
00:26 we all have our things that we need to work on and things that we're great at.
00:31 And I mean, it's just been amazing, like I said, working with those guys and
00:37 it'll be a key piece in our team success.
00:40 >> So you, I'm sorry, go ahead.
00:42 >> You, so you're playing a lot in the slot, playing a lot of nickel right now
00:46 in practice, but it seems every play there's a different person lined up
00:49 across from you.
00:50 What does that do to your preparation to face so
00:53 many different looks in practice and in the game?
00:57 How hard is it to defend an offense where everybody plays in a different spot?
01:02 >> So yeah, those guys help me out with my technique,
01:06 kinda laser rotate with Aaron Anderson and sometimes Malik neighbors in the slot.
01:10 So I get a different feel with each guy, different tempos, different speeds.
01:15 So that helped me with my eye progression and my technique.
01:21 And it helps me become a better player because I can feel what each guy is better
01:25 at in the whole nine yards.
01:28 >> They're all different types of receivers.
01:29 >> Yeah, they're all different types of receivers, so
01:31 I can get that feel for when we play other teams.
01:34 They may have a big guy in the slot, a tight end in the slot,
01:37 fast guy like Aaron Anderson.
01:39 So it just helps me become a better player.
01:42 >> What area are you working on most?
01:47 You just mentioned eye control and different types of techniques.
01:50 What do you think is your biggest focus point right now for you?
01:55 >> So I'll say my man coverage and my point where breaking up the ball,
02:02 like my ball skills in there, when the ball's in the air, being better at that.
02:06 But mostly I say one on one coverage.
02:09 I feel like I got this own aspect down on my eye progressions with that.
02:15 And it's just all about ball man, ball man, like Coach House says.
02:19 And just doing your job, doing your 111.
02:21 So I mean, that's pretty cool.
