00:00 A group of fishermen are complaining of a continuous dredging in Manila Bay, Cavite, even though President Bongbong Marcos suspended the reclamation activities there.

00:09 The barangay's official said that the dredging is for another project.

00:15 Despite the suspension of President Bongbong Marcos on reclamation activities in Manila Bay,

00:24 the dredging continues in some parts of the bay, like here in Wawa Uno in Rosario, Cavite.

00:30 According to the group of fishermen, the operation here will not be able to get off the five boats for 24 hours.

00:51 We went to the said location in Wawa Uno, where we talked to some fishermen.

00:57 They said that based on their conversation with the boat drivers and barangay leaders,

01:03 this is not for the reclamation project in Manila Bay.

01:07 It's for the airport in Bulacan. That's where they bring the sand.

01:13 All the sand that is being dredged here is going to Bulacan because they are using the airport in Bulacan.

01:20 The boats have been in their area for a long time and the dredging has been going on for more than three years.

01:27 In a message sent by Atty. Joseph John Literal of the Philippine Reclamation Authority or PRA,

01:33 they confirmed that there is no activity being done in the reclamation projects that were suspended.

01:40 All of them are following the suspension order that was ordered by the President.
