00:09 It really was a place for rare individuals.
00:12 I mean, I know that's their motto, but it really was.
00:15 It's a classic place.
00:17 So many great artists have always been here over the years.
00:21 It was Disneyland for sex, drugs, and rock and roll.
00:25 It was a wild, almost like an insane asylum,
00:29 with some of the things that were going on.
00:31 Bob wants to meet you.
00:32 I went over to the Chelsea.
00:35 She opens the door, and the smoke--
00:39 I mean, you couldn't see anything,
00:41 because they were rolling spliffs in The New York Times.
00:44 Coming here was a special event for me,
00:47 because there'd always be illuminatis.
00:51 And obviously, the Chelsea is just directly intertwined
00:54 with the Warhol world.
00:56 Wow, this is like such an incredible part of history.
00:59 I never saw anything beautiful here.
01:02 I never saw anything nice here.
01:04 I saw a ghost.
01:05 I says, yeah, he's a gay ghost.
01:07 Well, when you walk through the halls of the Chelsea,
01:10 you can really feel this kind of energy.
01:12 Certain places have certain powers.
01:14 And this hotel has that power to make you want to create.
01:18 It's Cheerio, Mysterio.
01:24 Grandson, put it away.
01:26 It's Cheerio, Mygerio.
01:28 There's life in me.
