BiP’s Jade Roper Reveals Miscarriage of Baby Boy: 'I Am Forever Changed'

00:00 Bachelor in Paradise star Jade Roper announced that she's experiencing a miscarriage.

00:06 The reality star revealed the heartbreaking news that she and husband Tanner Tolbert were

00:09 expecting their fourth child, a baby boy named Beau.

00:13 She shared via Instagram, "I've been struggling what to write here as I've been navigating

00:17 a miscarriage.

00:18 It felt like all my dreams were coming true to welcome another baby into our lives, to

00:22 love and to complete our family.

00:23 While our hearts are completely broken and we have been dealing with the deep and complex

00:27 grief of the loss, we have been blessed to be touched by his soul for his short amount

00:31 of time.

00:32 I am forever changed."

00:34 She shared photos of her baby bump and noted that she is still carrying the fetus, saying,

00:38 "I'm currently experiencing what is called a missed miscarriage.

00:41 So while his heart has stopped, and he has stopped growing for some time now, my body

00:45 hasn't released the pregnancy yet.

00:47 I am hoping to do this naturally, and I'm trusting in timing and in my body under the

00:51 care of my provider."

00:52 She concluded her post by writing, "I've been carrying him with so much pride and cherish

00:56 every moment still left with part of him, but it has also been equally as challenging

01:00 and devastating.

01:01 So while I hold my belly here, our sweet baby's body is resting in my womb as his soul soars.

01:07 We love you with every piece of our hearts, baby beau."

01:10 Now, the couple also experienced other pregnancy losses while growing their family.

01:14 Jade revealed they got pregnant while on Bachelor in Paradise, but later lost their child.

01:18 And the following year, she revealed that she suffered another loss just before welcoming

01:22 their second baby.

01:24 In August of 2017, the couple welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Emerson, aka

01:29 Emi.

01:30 Less than two years later, she announced that she was pregnant with another little one,

01:33 and she gave birth to a baby boy that July.

01:36 While adjusting to life as a family of four, the pair announced in May of 2020 that their

01:40 third child was on the way, and their second son, Reed, was born that November.
