New Zealand bowling coach Shane Jurgensen said the Kiwis will target India's opening batsmen Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul during their ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2019 semifinal at Old Trafford, Manchester on Tuesday (July 9). Rohit Sharma has smashed five hundreds in this World Cup and has led India's batting charge throughout the tournament. KL Rahul has filled in well after Shikhar Dhawan was injured. New Zealand will be banking on their fast bowlers where Lockie Ferguson has been exceptional with 17 wickets. This will be the eighth World Cup match between India vs New Zealand. NZ lead 4-3 in head-to-heads. Video: NZC

00:00 We've got a great opportunity to play India.
00:09 We've played well against them in the past and it's a fantastic opportunity in a one-off
00:12 game to match up well against them and give it our best.
00:16 I think for me personally and from my side of the pen, we've got to get the wickets early.
00:20 Rohit Sharma has been outstanding for them.
00:23 K.L Rahul, opening batting with Sharma, has played really well today.
00:28 He got 100.
00:29 For me, the opportunity for us in the bowling side of the fence is to get those guys out
00:35 early.
00:36 If we can get those guys out early and put the pressure on a ball that's reasonably new,
00:41 it gets their middle order.
00:42 I think that's going to be really crucial and we can try and get Mr. Doney in there
00:46 and early and try and expose that.
00:53 We've worked hard to get the semifinals and obviously we didn't finish the pool play as
00:57 well as we wanted to, but that happens.
01:00 As I said, we worked hard in the Premier League Parlor tournament to get to this stage.
01:05 So we've now got one game to get it right and if we get that right, we get to the finals.
01:11 So I think for us, it's a fantastic opportunity to play India in a one-off game.
01:18 We match up well against them, we've played well against them in the past.
01:21 From now on, that's all that matters and this is what we want to achieve and it's a great
01:25 opportunity for us.
01:26 Yeah, it's been good.
01:27 For me personally, it's been good to have a bit of a break and also, more importantly,
01:28 the players.
01:29 It's good that it's not me playing, it's the boys going out there and giving it their best.
01:30 I think it's going to be really important.
01:31 For example, Loki's had a couple of extra days break because of his little niggles.
01:33 So hopefully he'll have a bowl tomorrow and improve his fitness, fingers crossed, and
01:42 then everyone will be available for selection.
01:47 So I think for us, the guys have got away, had a bit of a break and it's a good opportunity
01:59 for us to reset as a team and get together tomorrow, tomorrow night, have a bit of a
02:04 team dinner and discuss how we're going to beat India.
