00:00 We're all very excited about the Matildas getting into the semi-final.
00:07 So our school has organised a green and gold day and at 12 o'clock we're having the big
00:13 penalty shootout between our students and staff.
00:19 So students could put their name in a container to be selected as one of the shooters and
00:27 our staff have done the same thing.
00:29 So it's 10 and 10 and we're looking forward to seeing who comes out on top.
00:37 I feel that some of the staff believe they have some soccer skills they haven't used
00:42 for a while that are going to come to the fore.
00:44 Our students are very competitive though and feel that they have the edge over us.
00:49 I think we all are looking forward to having someone to aspire to and the fact that it's
00:57 an Australian team I think means a lot to young students everywhere, young children.
01:04 In Tasmania sometimes we don't get to see some of those things so the opportunity to
01:09 see it on TV has certainly made everyone sit up and take notice.
01:14 I think it's highlighting the importance of sport for everyone but it's also highlighting
01:20 the importance of sport for girls.
