00:00 We did cover this on Monday in the Monday review, so we'll not dwell too much on Palace.
00:05 Aside from to say that we will be stunned, or will we, if all of that midfield starts
00:17 tomorrow night?
00:18 Yeah, I'd be surprised. I think that's fair to say. As I said last week, I sort of understand
00:26 the selection beforehand. I think it's the easiest thing in the world to look back and
00:29 say, 'I don't know why that happened'. I can understand the thinking, but I think it's
00:36 fair to say from everyone who watched it that it didn't quite work, did it? In terms of
00:41 one shot. We talked about all this earlier in the week, didn't we? One shot on target,
00:46 not particularly a great deal more creative than that. Solid enough, but I think that
00:52 now there's been a couple of, I say a couple, there's been one reinforcement in terms of
00:57 the transfer market and one player in Vinicius Souza who's a week more up to speed. He's
01:04 a week more in tune with his new teammates, with how United want to play. I'd be surprised
01:11 if he wasn't on the team sheet tomorrow. Don't know that, obviously, but I'd be surprised
01:17 if he wasn't named in the team, maybe to give a bit more defensive solid, just to give that
01:27 extra bit of defensive solidarity, not more, because defensively United weren't particularly
01:33 bad last night. I think it was going the other way that the issue was for me. So, yeah, I'd
01:39 be surprised if he doesn't start possibly alongside Ollie Norwood in a sort of double
01:45 pivot sort of thing, to use that modern term, and then let possibly Gus Hamer, Anish Lamoni,
01:55 the forward players, give a bit more licence to go and make something happen, because they
02:02 need to score goals, don't they? It sounds the most obvious thing in the world to say,
02:05 but if you don't score goals, you won't win games and you won't stay in the Premier League.
02:09 So I think that they will, without having to be in a parking lot or anything like that,
02:14 I think they will go out there and be positive. And, yeah, I'm just looking forward to the
02:21 occasion really, after what happened last time, obviously, during the game, which was
02:27 a really good, hostile atmosphere during the game, and United stood up to that really well
02:39 and obviously won the game. Obviously, I know they didn't go through on the night, but they
02:42 actually won the tie, didn't they? And forced it to go to penalties. I really enjoyed how
02:47 they played that night. They could have easily wilted in that atmosphere, that sort of intensity
02:52 of everyone expecting Forrest to just kind of complete the job really, after going ahead
02:58 as well. I was actually in the away end, I was on Paternity Leave of all things, in the
03:02 away end. And when John, I think he was, scored that opening goal in the City ground, it was
03:07 bouncing, wasn't it? Everyone thought, you know, there's no chance from here. But I think
03:10 to come back from that, showed a lot of character. And then obviously everything that happened
03:13 afterwards, the unsavoury, not unsavoury, the disgusting scenes that happened really
03:18 with Billy Sharp being assaulted and then everything that happened with Ollie McBurney.
03:23 I think there's a lot of, not bad blood there, but I think it'll make an interesting atmosphere.
03:28 It's certainly going to be a spiky occasion, shall we say?
03:36 Yeah, I think it would have been anyway. I think Pecky alluded to that yesterday, it's
03:40 their first home game. By all accounts, their fans got behind them last season to kind of
03:46 help them stay in the Premier League. All that money they spent as well probably helped
03:49 along the way and the 45 players they signed helped them along the way as well. But I think
03:55 it would have been a good atmosphere anyway. But I think all that sort of, everything and
03:59 everything kind of chucked in the melting pot as regards last time and the sort of rivalry
04:04 between the two clubs anyway. Yeah, I think it'll be an interesting atmosphere. Interesting
04:11 to hear a penny for the police's thoughts when he got moved to a Friday night from the
04:15 Saturday.
04:17 Yeah, I think a Saturday 3pm would have been quite happy with or maybe a lunchtime on a
04:30 Sunday. But yeah, certainly a Friday night in Nottingham is going to be quite an occasion
04:41 I think tomorrow night.
