Philadelphia 76ers star James Harden called team president Daryl Morey a "liar" at his basketball camp in China.

00:00 For several years I have criticized Darryl Morey, the now general manager of the Philadelphia
00:06 76ers.
00:07 Back when he was in Houston, I used to remind Rockets fans that while they were very talented
00:12 and were a threat in the West, they were never going to get over that hump because they had
00:16 no culture.
00:17 They had no chemistry because the very talented players that Darryl Morey would bring in didn't
00:23 seem to have any.
00:24 Darryl Morey has a degree from the Sloan School of Management at MIT, one of the most prestigious
00:30 schools in the world.
00:32 He obviously didn't study chemistry while he was there because once again, fast forward
00:36 to now, what does he do in Philadelphia?
00:40 Same old thing.
00:41 Lots of talented players, lots of regular season wins, playoff meltdowns and disgruntled
00:47 players and a fan base wondering why we can't get over the hump.
00:51 James Harden was at an Adidas camp, a media event in China last night and completely threw
00:58 Morey under the bus, called him a liar, says he'll never play for a team managed by him
01:02 again.
01:03 You would have thought that Morey learned what a cancerous type guy James Harden was
01:08 all those years ago in Houston, but what does he do?
01:11 He doubles down and brings Harden with him to Philadelphia and look where they are now,
01:16 right where Rockets fans were some three or four years ago.
01:20 Covering the NBA and the San Antonio Spurs, I'm Mike Taylor.
