‘Mystic’ meerkats predict who will win World Cup final as Lionesses prepare to face Spain

  • last year
A group of “mystic” meerkats at a zoo in East Sussex have placed their bets on who will win the World Cup final on Sunday, 20 August, as England prepare to face Spain.

Earlier this week, the animals - who live at Drusillas Park - correctly predicted that the Lionesses would win the semi-final against Australia.

Footage shows the meerkats swarming a bucket of food with the England flag on, seemingly forecasting a victory this weekend.

The ‘mystic meerkats’ have been predicting football results since 2021, and correctly predicted the Lionesses’ results all the way to the Euro 2022 finals.
