01:15 Aranosian's a very enthusiastic fighter.
01:16 He's always, he's gonna be looking to answer
01:18 anything you do.
01:19 And Gutierrez is good enough to do a lot,
01:21 which is gonna make it an interesting fight
01:24 'cause a guy like Aranosian, like I said,
01:25 likes to answer everything.
01:27 And of course, even get off first as he's trying to there.
01:30 - Goldie, you made point of the tail of the tape
01:32 that Venezuelan Gutierrez has the height advantage,
01:35 but does not have much of a reach advantage.
01:39 You see the height.
01:39 I think that could really play out
01:43 in a lot of different ways that could help Aranosian.

01:47 Lands one, turns the corner quickly.
01:49 - Yeah, nice little pivot move there by Aranosian
01:51 instead of that little left uppercut.
01:53 You know, he's got a bunch of amateur experience.
01:55 This is a good match on paper here.
01:58 - Two-time silver medalist at the European Championships.
02:02 - That inside work by Aranosian,
02:06 that's gonna be really important for him
02:09 to establish the dominance on the inside.
02:11 Good sweeping hook from Gutierrez.
02:17 - And Gutierrez with 21 finishes
02:21 of his 27 professional victories.
02:24 Sneaky uppercut once and twice by Aranosian.
02:27 - And I think Gutierrez is gonna have to be
02:28 a little busier with that jab, those straight shots,
02:30 because Aranosian is finding the entrance
02:33 into the pocket too easily for my liking
02:36 as far as if I'm on team Gutierrez.
02:38 And on the inside, Aranosian is very creative
02:40 with the way he changes angles and creates openings.
02:42 - Gutierrez actually does have a good jab.
02:44 He jabs moving backwards quite well.
02:45 Obviously, he's got a big right hand.
02:48 You see that already.
02:49 He's flashed it a few times,
02:50 but he's allowing Aranosian to walk right in the front door.
02:54 - He's gotta be a bit busier with that jab.
02:56 - He's gotta establish that critical distance line.
02:59 - And again, he doesn't do it and look.
03:00 - And again, right up the middle with the uppercut.
03:03 - And again, Aranosian with that creative moves inside,
03:05 finding those openings.
03:07 He's very astute.
03:09 - Creative moves again, but also creative punch variation,
03:11 picking those spots very nicely,
03:13 finding the holes immediately in the defense of Gutierrez.
03:16 - And that's that experience,
03:17 that amateur experience goes a long way,
03:19 and Aranosian has a lot of it.
03:21 13-0 as a professional,
03:23 facing the seventh straight opponent with a winning record.
03:27 This one, 27-4-1.
03:30 - The biggest thing I noticed-
03:32 - Oh, big counter right, and that hurt him.
03:34 Great start for Otar Aranosian.
03:41 - I was gonna say,
03:42 the biggest thing I noticed in preparing for this fight
03:45 is the difference in foot speed.
03:47 Aranosian, very quick off the first step,
03:49 cuts his angles very nicely,
03:51 and Gutierrez, very slow with his feet,
03:54 plodding, walking,
03:55 pushes his upper body faster than his lower body,
03:57 sometimes gets himself off balance.
03:59 - Aranosian was very effective with uppercuts
04:05 with both hands, that's right on his,
04:06 the right hand uppercut on the inside there.
04:09 See some of those shots as Gutierrez makes a mistake
04:11 of going straight back.
04:12 Aranosian follows him to the ropes
04:14 where he lands another right hand uppercut.
04:17 There's a left hand uppercut inside.
04:18 Aranosian, not known as a puncher,
04:20 but when you land punches this clean,
04:21 consistently, to open the fight,
04:24 I mean, you gotta make a change here.
04:26 You can't take these punches all night long.
04:27 - Yeah, and I think that the initial change
04:29 has to be Gutierrez's jab.
04:30 I mean, if he's got a good jab,
04:33 he's gotta establish it because Aranosian
04:36 came out of the, don't get me wrong,
04:37 came out of the gates with good head movement
04:39 so that he was gonna work his way inside.
04:40 He was intending to work his way inside,
04:41 but then really, he didn't have to really work
04:43 this way to get inside.
04:44 He could just walk right in the front door.
04:46 - And you gotta get respect-
04:46 - Oh!
04:48 - Speaking of getting respect.
04:49 - That's respect!
04:50 - Yup.
04:51 - And Gutierrez came out swinging at the start of round two.
04:55 - I mentioned the big right hand in that first round.
04:57 - Aranosian came out swinging too.

05:03 Yeah, 'cause I was, before I got caught off,
05:05 what I was saying there is if you don't get respect
05:07 from a guy like Aranosian,
05:08 he's gonna run in the front door and bully you
05:10 and beat you up and mug you, basically.

05:13 - Gutierrez is getting that respect right here.

06:53 so that uppercut's gonna be there all night long.

09:22 - I think it's very important for Aranosian
09:23 to keep Gutierrez on the back foot.
09:24 'Cause on the back, Gutierrez is not as good of a fighter
09:26 when he's fighting going backwards.
09:28 As soon as you allow Gutierrez a plan to come forward,
09:30 he's able to put some heavier shots like that together.
09:32 So Aranosian backing up Gutierrez is very important.
09:35 It's looking more and more important
09:36 as the fight wears on than when he does this,
09:38 'cause up against the ropes,
09:39 Gutierrez has been almost useless as Aranosian works him
09:42 and uses the angles and tries to work the punches.
09:44 - Most fighters who fight very heavy over their front foot
09:47 do not fight well going backwards.
09:48 Gutierrez is one of those.
09:49 - And worthy of note as the winner will be the mandatory
09:57 for Hector Luis Garcia.
09:59 It was just about a year ago
10:01 that Gutierrez fought Hector Luis Garcia.
10:04 A 12 round unanimous decision win
10:08 for the now champion.

10:50 - Yeah, it becomes a mental issue there too.

10:54 That's Aranosian style.
10:56 He's all over you.

11:40 and when it's time to rest.
11:42 - And a little chapped at the end of the round.
11:45 - And we had mentioned Gutierrez,
11:48 not a faded former champ.
11:50 This young man is here to win.
11:52 In fact, he's younger than Otar.
11:54 You gotta remember that.
11:55 He's a veteran, he's the former, he's the ex-champ.

17:12 Gutierrez bought it and he just put himself back on the ropes
17:15 so Otar didn't even have to throw a punch.
17:17 - And once again, absolutely zero defense
17:20 when Gutierrez is back against the ropes.
17:22 Otar can throw anything that's going to land.
17:24 - Good body shot by Gutierrez.
17:28 He needs a little bit more of that.
17:30 - And there you go, Chance,
17:31 puts himself right back on the ropes.
17:32 - But right away, Aranosian pins his opponent

17:53 - Definitely the better feet in this fight
17:55 is Otar Aranosian, no question about that.
17:57 - And I like he's got the gold on one shoe

18:01 He's styling a profile in two.

18:05 The way that he fights, the way that he dresses,
18:07 the way that he acts.

19:19 - Gutierrez is gonna have to get respect again
19:20 like he did in round number two
19:21 when he dropped Aronozian with that chopping right hook.

19:27 - And keep in mind, if Gutierrez continues to fatigue,
19:30 there's less sting on his punches.
19:31 A tired fighter can't really get the same sting
19:34 on his shots as he would when he's fresh.
19:35 - Yeah, we saw that on the last night

19:39 - And Anonon down on the scorecards,

19:44 - And every time they're in a clinch,
