00:00 A press conference took place in Sheffield last weekend hosted by promoter Izzy Arcef and IBF World Champion boxer Ebony Bridges.
00:09 The Superflyweight Commonwealth title will be on the line with 5-0 champion Emma Dolan taking on 3-0 works up native Nicola Hopewell on October 6th in the Clash on the Court Fight Night.
00:23 What do you see happening in the bout?
00:25 I see the fight being an explosive and exciting fight. I think me and Emma are both going to bring it to the table. We're both undefeated. It's going to be a 50/50 fight.
00:35 But I'm walking home with that belt.
00:38 What do you know about your opponent?
00:40 I know that Emma's a good girl. She's 5-0 and Commonwealth Champion. You don't get to 5-0 and be Commonwealth Champion without being a good boxer.
00:49 I know that she's good. I know what she wants to bring to the table. I think it will be an exciting fight.
00:56 It's a great fight between Nicola Hopewell and Emma Dolan for the Commonwealth title and the Superflyweight title.
01:04 It's very exciting. I love the Superflyweight division. I think it's absolutely stacked with so much talent, especially here in the UK.
01:10 I think the fight is going to be full of fireworks. They're both going to be fast and they're both strong and they're both going to be hungry.
01:15 I do see Nicola Hopewell edging that fight. I do think that she's going to be able to take that belt.
01:22 How do you see the fight going? What are your predictions?
01:24 I see it as an interesting fight the first couple of rounds. I feel like I'll rise the bar and get a boxing skill set. When I'm on point, I'll get a lead in the doffing.
01:36 What are your thoughts about how the fight's going to go?
01:39 I knew Nicola a few years ago. Her old coach used to bring her down to the spa. He used to bring a few girls down and she used to join him in the spa as well with Nina Bradley and Nick Sin.
01:51 I know a bit about Nicola. She's a bit of a prospect. A few people talk about her. I just feel that Emma's a different level.
02:00 Emma's become a different fighter since she won the title. I've seen a massive change. We've worked on a few things and she's adapted very, very well.
02:09 Obviously, being a champion now, she's grown in confidence. She wants to keep the belt. She's punching harder now. She's stronger. She's fitter.
02:18 She's had the 10-round experience which Nicola's never had. I've got her as a favourite.
02:26 It's a live fight. I know Nicola will bring her A-game and give it everything she's got. I just feel that Emma's got a little bit of an edge over her.
