00:00 It's been phenomenal. It's his first time working in the Premier League.
00:03 He's had to learn English, he's had to adapt to life in England, he's had to learn a new league, work with new players.
00:09 The big club can buy the players but they can't buy our soul and our spirit.

00:42 For sure, I love fixing the target very high to keep a big motivation because we have to have a big motivation.
00:59 And last year we did it.

01:11 Before they played pot of ball, now they play deserving ball.
01:16 One of the most influential managers in the last 20 years.
01:19 There is no team playing in the way they play. It's unique.
01:25 What is brought to the league is a different idea and different challenge for managers as well.
01:32 And this is what you want. We want to be the best league in the world. We need the best managers, the best players.
01:37 Pushing through your ideas by changing what probably everybody thought of Brighton, that worked out pretty well.
01:43 And then still to put on your stamp. It's a really good job he did that, I have to say.
01:50 He created 20-25 chances in an Aboriginal game.
01:55 He's better by far than all the opponents. He monopolised the ball in a way like I've never been for a long, long time.
02:04 Obviously he's doing incredibly well and you can see when things are clicking, everybody is 10-20% better all of a sudden again.
02:12 They have a really clear vision. They've been ahead of many other clubs as well in the way that they have handled.
02:19 And the way they have made decisions, the way they have developed players, the way they have recruited talent, the way they have set up the club.
02:26 The key thing has been succession planning. We have a plan for key positions within the club should we lose people in those positions.
02:33 I think that's very important if you want to maintain momentum.
02:36 We are fortunate that we've got a very good owner. We've got fantastic infrastructure. We sell out all of our games.
02:42 We generate great revenues from our sponsors and from our hospitality and non-matchday work.
02:48 So, no, it's not essential but we also recognise that best players want to play at the top level and it's possible we will lose players at some point.
02:56 I think the big club can buy the players but they can't buy our soul and our spirit.
03:04 That's not on the market and this is most important for the players when they leave.
