00:00 After weeks of guessing, it became clear who will represent our country in the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023.
00:12 This was after the Philippines announced the Final 12 for the Global Showcase, where the country will be one of the hosts.
00:21 Do you think the coaching staff chose the President of the Philippines, Chou Treyes, to make the home fans happy?

00:39 There were not many surprises on the list because the names expected are among the 12 players of the Philippine Men's Basketball Team.
00:50 It was led by NBA player Jordan Clarkson of Utah Jazz and 7'3" homegrown NBA aspirant, Kai Soto.
00:59 They will be joined by two veteran World Cup big men, Jun Marfajardo and Japet Aguilar, nicknamed Team Captain.
01:08 The PBA stars, the reigning MVPs, Scottie Thompson, Jamie Malonso, CJ Perez and Roger Pugoy, and the overseas base players,
01:20 Dwight Ramos, Kiefer Rabena, Renz Abando and AJ Edu, will also be included.
01:26 These 12 players have a mission to bring the Philippines to the highest finish in the World Cup, compared to all the other Asian countries.

01:41 From the 16-man pool that was in the last week of preparations for the World Cup,
