00:06 Manchester Pride Festival is taking place over Bank Holiday weekend from the 25th to
00:10 the 28th of August. The famous Pride Parade on Saturday the 26th will fill the city centre
00:16 streets with colour and get the party atmosphere started.
00:21 Manchester's Ukrainian community came together on the 24th of August to celebrate the country's
00:26 Independence Day. The Ukrainian national holiday marks the day in 1999 when Ukraine signed
00:32 its declaration of independence following the collapse of the Soviet Union.
00:37 And finally, a brand new food hall venue opening in Salford Quays will hold 20 vendors, including
00:42 some of Manchester's most popular food spots. Central Bay and its Cargo MKT food hall is
00:48 set to be the largest of its kind in Greater Manchester.
