00:05 There seems to be like this insatiable appetite for horror out there in the general public,
00:11 and they do, they celebrate it.
00:13 [Sounds of a fire]
00:24 I recall having this dream where Christopher Lee's Dracula was chasing me around the neighbourhood,
00:29 trying to force me to eat people and be a vampire and do all these things,
00:34 and it was a scary, terrifying dream for a six or seven year old.
00:38 I had a lot of posters of Freddy, Chuckie, Jason, Michael, you know, so on and so on.
00:46 It can be so many different things at the same time.
00:50 You know, it can be horror comedy, it can be horror drama, it can be a thriller.
00:54 "Reg, you want to do a horror film?" I went, "I'm in."
01:00 That's my favourite genre of horror is slashers. I think there's just something fun about it.
01:04 A hammer film with Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee.
01:07 Fighting the Gorgon, you hold up a mirror and you've got to walk backwards
01:11 and somehow chop this woman's head off without looking at her.
01:14 I had nightmares about that movie when I was a little kid.
01:18 We would watch a lot of movies like Texas Chainsaw Massacre and stuff like that growing up,
01:25 and honestly, that had a strong impact on me.
01:28 I just love this genre. I love the feeling of being scared and also scaring people.
