USA News: Bob Barker Game show host, animal activist has died

"The Price Is Right," host Bob Barker has passed away.

In his more than 30 years as director of "The Price Is Right," Bob Barker changed in only one appreciable way: He cut his hair in the early 1990s, after the game show had run for two decades. Stopped painting.

Everything else about Barker—his dusky-and-white appearance, his ease with the contestants, his witty rapport with the audience—remained the same. Even the CBS set where "The Price" was taped five times a week starting in 1972 didn't change much: the same

Mustard- avocado- and- tangerine color scheme, same Smithsonian-worthy Showcase Showdown wheel.

According to his publicist, Roger Neal, Barker has died at the age of 99.
