02:43 Erika's estranged ex, Tom Girardi,
02:45 who was indicted in February of five counts of wire fraud.
02:48 Despite being diagnosed with Alzheimer's,

02:55 I did nothing wrong.
02:57 I'm at a place where I don't quite know
02:59 who I was married to.
03:00 When we first met, there was a definite line
03:02 between Erika Jayne and Erika Girardi.
03:05 I feel like that's blurred now.
03:06 I'm just Erika, which I have no idea

03:11 I was married then, and I'm not now,
03:13 and so many things have changed.
03:15 Sometimes I think about things like that,
03:17 and it's just better to be present in the moment.

03:28 You've filmed some of this to be seen on the show.
03:30 What was it like to document the creative process?
03:33 Really fun.
03:34 It was actually a big escape for me,
03:35 'cause so much of Housewives can be petty,
03:38 backbiting, monotonous conversation.
03:42 This was actually a good escape.

03:45 What does it mean to get to live in your happy place
03:47 and soon get to share the happy place
03:49 with the fans who have supported you all this way?
03:53 It's an absolute blessing for me
03:54 to be able to do something like this.
03:56 It's been a hard few years,
03:59 and for this Bette Dahl on Blonde residency to come along
04:03 was really sort of heaven sent, I believe.
04:05 And I hope that the fans, or the people that come,
04:08 have a great time, because I know I'm going to enjoy
04:10 every moment on stage, I really am.
04:12 What emotions are running through your head
04:13 as the countdown is on to opening night?
04:16 Spit on you.

04:18 Well, look, I'm under,
04:20 this is an incredible moment for me,
04:24 a rebuilding moment.
04:26 But yeah, I mean, I'm nervous.
04:29 I've got, but good nerves, good pressure,
04:31 not like the pressure that I've had.
04:33 So this is something I look forward to every day.
04:36 I mentioned that I was going to see a psychiatrist,
04:38 'cause I was feeling depressed, and,
04:40 yeah, okay.
04:42 What all goes into this process?
04:45 How many hours are you spending in here a day?
04:47 What does your day-to-day look like while rehearsing?
04:50 Well, I live here.
04:51 No, you know, it's 12, 12 good hours a day,
04:55 12 to 14 hours a day, which is a lot for being on your feet.
04:59 But it's worth it.
05:01 You know, when you think of costumes, music,
05:05 you saw background singers, which I've never had before,
05:08 which adds so much, the two girls add so much to the show,
05:11 boys, dancers, and everything else that goes with it,
05:15 hair, makeup, and that has yet to come to life.
05:18 And all of the lights and (beep) that gets in there,
05:21 so I'm super excited.

05:26 Where are we at on the costume count?
05:27 How many looks are we changing in and out of?
05:30 Okay, it's five and a half,
05:31 but I don't know what the half is.

05:36 He's, I said, "Well, how many costumes do I have?"
05:38 He's like, "You have five and a half."
05:39 I was like, "Well, what is half?"
05:40 So, I'll find out.

05:53 So, I went on IG Live, and I asked everyone,
05:58 "What would you like to see me do?"
06:01 I took one person's suggestion, it was very clever,
06:05 and that is the opening of the show.
06:07 And then there's new music.
06:08 How much new music?
06:09 Four new songs.
06:10 I pulled some songs out of the vault
06:13 that actually people have never heard before,
06:15 and I stuck them in the show.
06:16 So, there's some really cool things
06:18 that I'm really proud of that have never had life
06:21 that are now in the show.
06:23 And then four new guys.

06:26 You know, I've always loved to perform,
06:28 but the biggest surprise is how happy I am
06:31 in this room and in this setting with these people.
06:34 I forgot how much I loved this
06:38 and how much I love these people with me and my team.
06:41 And we just have such a good time here.
06:42 This is truly a place that I feel good.
06:46 This is where I'm happiest.
06:47 When we last spoke, when this was announced,
06:50 you said no tears had happened yet.
06:51 You expected tears when you walk on that stage.
06:54 Oh, when I walked in here, which is Monday,
06:59 and I saw this, I started to cry.
07:01 Even though it's bare, it's just bare,
07:03 I started to cry because it was real.
07:05 And you know, you can rehearse in a dance studio
07:07 for so long with tape on the floor,
07:08 but then I saw it built out and I thought,
07:10 oh my God, it's actually happening.
07:12 And then when I saw the billboards,
07:15 I kind of was like, oh no, I have to do this show.
07:20 What have I gotten my,
07:21 I literally, there was a hot second where I was like,
07:24 what have you gotten yourself into, ma'am?
07:26 But it's all good.
07:27 What has been the hardest part of it?
07:29 'Cause it had been a minute since you'd been in this mode.
07:32 Yes, no, for sure.
07:33 It's interesting.
07:36 The last job I had was on Broadway.
07:38 I was a member of a cast.
07:40 This is my show.
07:41 So there is another type of focus
07:45 or light that's shined upon you.
07:47 So it's very, you know, it can be daunting, truthfully, yes.
07:52 How are you balancing your health while doing all this?
07:55 'Cause it's a, like you said,
07:56 it's a lot to be on your feet,
07:57 moving your body 12 hours a day.
07:59 Yeah, fortunately for me, I've done this before,
08:01 you know, like my whole life, so I'm okay.
08:05 What's the one thing you had to give up
08:06 to be showgirl ready?
08:07 Oh, a lot of fast food.
08:10 And alcohol.
08:13 You can't, you know, otherwise you bloat and get puffy.
08:16 Also not good for the vocal cords.
08:19 No, not at all.
08:20 It's like death by a thousand cuts is not good at all.
08:22 You know, there are haters out there.
08:24 What is your message?
