Air passengers across the UK have been warned they could experience significant delays over the next few days due to an air traffic control glitch. One Birmingham Airport passenger reported a two hour delay. The technical issue is said to be affecting automation of flight plans.

More complaints about Birmingham City Council were upheld last year than in Liverpool, Manchester, Sheffield and Leeds combined. 128 complaints were upheld, more than every other council in England. The Ombudsman said only 7% of these cases were provided with a satisfactory remedy.

Music fans at Páirc Festival received a surprise performance from Ronnie Wood. The Rolling Stones legend appeared on stage alongside headliner Van Morrison. Ronnie told how pleased he was to attend the festival in a tweet.
