00:00 These four chilling bear encounters are sure to make you shake your head in disbelief.
00:05 Number four. In Vancouver, British Columbia, three friends had their fun mountain bike ride
00:14 quickly turn into a nightmare when they were chased by a relentless black bear.
00:20 After spotting the animal approaching them from a distance,
00:24 they quickly decide to pedal away out of fear for their safety.
00:29 Coming this way? Yeah, he's walking right there.
00:31 He's running, he's running, he's running. Yeah.
00:36 They look behind them a few times and are shocked to see that they are now being pursued by the bear.
00:54 Seriously fearing for their lives, they continue to pedal away as fast as they can in hopes to
01:01 eventually lose the predator. After a few tense minutes, they decide to take a quick break in
01:07 order to see if the bear is still around. We always put our bikes up in front of us. Yeah.
01:21 This time though, they attempt to scare the bear away by screaming and throwing rocks in its
01:27 direction. I see him still. Hey, hey, down here bear.
01:36 It luckily seems to work as the animal briefly disappears back into the forest.
01:48 The men grab this opportunity and slowly begin walking away while keeping an eye out for the
01:54 predator. Just a few minutes later though, they unfortunately spot the bear behind them once again.
02:01 Oh, I don't see a big black mass. No. Yes, he's coming.
02:08 Are we going to pedal or no? If you just say stop, stop. Eventually feeling like it's the safer
02:17 solution, they get off their bikes and continue on the trail by foot, all while staying as close
02:23 together as possible. Even after looking back many times, they never see the beast again
02:30 and finally decide to call it a day. Number three. While on a peaceful hike, YouTuber Will Wild's
02:39 Outdoor Adventures decided to explore a remote cave when he experienced something that will
02:47 haunt him for life. Not expecting much to happen, he enters the vast dark cave and begins slowly
02:54 but surely exploring every inch of it. At some point, he unfortunately spots what appears to be
03:01 bear footprints on the ground.
03:12 Despite the obvious red flags, he continues to walk deeper into the mysterious cave in hopes
03:20 to see something interesting. With the help of his flashlight, he identifies what seems to be
03:27 a brown figure laying down at the end of the cave.
03:31 Is that something there sleeping? Do you see it? Without making too much noise, he tries to get a
03:41 closer look and unfortunately confirms his fear that it is, in fact, a sleeping bear.
03:48 Completely shocked by the situation, he remains frozen there for many minutes before finally
04:07 deciding to leave the cave and get back to safety. Number one. In Whistler, British Columbia,
04:17 Cody Clark and his friends were on an exciting mountain bike ride when they experienced
04:22 something that would make anyone faint in fear. While pedaling down a muddy trail, Cody's friends
04:29 immediately alert him of the danger after seeing two bear cubs hiding up in the trees around them.
04:37 Bears, bears, bears. In the f***ing trees. Ah! Go right there, right there. S***, where's mom at?
04:42 Holy s***. Go, go, go. Dude, where's the mom?
04:46 Right away, Cody panics and begins looking around for the mom. He unfortunately ends up spotting
04:53 her just to the right of the trail. Fearing for his life, he quickly gets back to pedaling down
04:59 the trail as fast as he possibly can.
05:05 Bears, mom's coming.
05:08 Connor, look where mom is. While alerting the others to the danger, he keeps looking behind him
05:18 to make sure he isn't being followed. Finally, he manages to get back with his group and they
05:25 simply continue on their ride like nothing happened. Thanks for watching until the end.
